Bit more detail from sky news. So now the babies died because staff couldn’t wash their hands properly? We know this has never been reported but I wonder if this is the first time she’s ever mentioned this. In 8 years.

🎉 First time I've ever been fully caught up on these threads before court begins.
It's hard work keeping up! But enjoy this thread (not the topic) I can never contribute properly cos I'm pages behind!
I don’t let it stop me, but then I’m like

Does anyone else think that at this point BM is just letting her get on with it?

Either that or she's just totally ignoring any advice he's giving her.

Nothing he can do at this point though, he can't talk to her whilst she's giving evidence. She is completely rogue and all he can do is watch!

It must be so hard to defend someone who bullshits and contradicts this much. BM must be hitting his face off the desk.

Wtf. ‘A massive haemorrhage could happen to any baby.’ Er no. Massive haemorrhages do not just happen. She’s not even a good liar.

I wish we had cameras in the court room like America, just so we can see BM face and reactions to her bull.

Won’t be able to follow properly today 😣 you’re all terrifying me with your mystic Meg predictions 😆
I think it should be a big day for BNE2.0. Thank you for the new description of his posh, softly spoken but takes no tit voice @nosycowmoo think @docmum will be very relieved with this news 🤣🩷

For Baby E, she’s got to claim mum totally forgot the milk for her baby, has made up blood and made up the whole scenario that that the Dad also verified and the phone records cement. They invented somebody telling Mum blood was irritation from the tube? So many problems with this one for Letby and she knows it.

Then she’s going to be properly quizzed over the insulin which should be very interesting! Part of the conspiracy against her? Or a parallel poisoner that wasn’t her? Both theories utterly wild and unbelievable. Hope he mentions how accepting she was of the shocking news that random parents or her colleagues had been trying to murder babies! Very calm about it considering she thought there were people plotting against her and it made her so paranoid that she wrote she did this all and killed on purpose. Just doesn’t add up eh.

Would love BNE to have been reading here and also throw in that baby B’s mother’s testimony says the consultant told her at the time that they’d never seen anything like Baby B’s mottling. I don’t think that’s been put to her and it really does crap on all these vague accusations from BM that there has been confirmation bias about the rashes.
Haven’t caught up on thread yet, but literally everything you said in your second paragraph is lit what’s gone down in court this morning, I think you may be the mystic Meg of the thread 👀

The defence statement also refers to 'blood in the nappy' for Child E after he died. Mr Johnson says if that has been heard in her evidence. Letby says she cannot recall.

Letby says it is written in her nursing notes, and nothing was done about it as Child E was deceased by that time.

Letby is asked to look at her nursing notes.
Oh god, what's this about ☹

Talk about clutching at straws 🙄
'LL: "[Child E] did have blood like that - after 2200."
Letby adds "there was no blood prior to that."' https://www.chesterstandard.co.uk/n...y-trial-may-24---cross-examination-continues/

She is digging herself into the hole.
Mum brought the milk down before 10pm because the feed was due at 9pm. Who are we to believe Child E's mother? Or LL?
Isn't it funny how LL can remember that so well with absolute certainty but she can't remember anything else.

So she's 'changing her statement' about the bile? Denying there was any? When she previously said there was? Confused, might the the way I'm reading it though!

Looking at my youngest remembering when he was born how tiny he was and dunno if its a thing for small babies but he had these big huge eyes like they looked too big for his face. Upsetting me man.

This is probably a right noob question, is Baby E the same baby she denied seeing the blood now she's agreeing to it? Or was that another poor baby. Sorry not meaning disrespect forgetting who is who, but without names and going by letters I forget (I know I can check the Wiki just I'm too lazy as its amazing and very long😅)
