Well in conjunction with his last messages about Tofino it was a bit because he seemed to think she ran Tattle 😂😂 he seems to have mellowed out a bit now though considering his last message.

But I do think it is a bit unsettling to think you post on an anonymous forum and someone from the "real world" has taken such an interest in your tattle profile that they knew who you were in a real life scenario of being in the same room. Then posts this on their own public profile.

But maybe that's just me!
It’s a specific room though and most of the people there sound like they were police, plus it looks to me like Tofino posted here first about potentially seeing him? So his post now reads to me like a reassuring response to their concerns saying that he doesn’t intend to do anything IRL.

I don't think he's a danger or anything I just worded what I was trying to say poorly!! It wasn't a dig at James more a cautionary observation as I do think he was being very complimentary to @Tofino and I do read his messages as reassuring, it's just the reality of the online world and the real world melding that had freaked me out!

I was just trying to point out how you never know and perhaps we should all be more careful with what we post as we don't really know who's reading. Hard though cause we have a nice group here of posters and it can be easy to forget yourself sometimes... I definitely share more about myself here than I do with friends and family at times 😬

In the police interview, she said she couldn't remember whether the SHO was in the room or on the phone when making a call to omit the 9pm feed. And that's not noted anywhere either, SHO said he couldn't remember.

So how can she not remember whether a doctor came to see the baby or not just after 9pm, but can say with complete certainty that the mum did not visit at 9pm?

Did anyone notice as well, that she wrote some of the notes retrospectively (at 4.30am next day) like the 8pm one where she said the mum visited for cares for E? Why was she writing these retrospectively when she was only looking after E&F in nursery 1 and 8pm was the start of her shift so she'd have time to do a note especially if mum was with the baby. Also why would mum be doing cares at 8pm when she knows there's a 9pm feed and she needs to go express milk (assume that it takes a while?).

Prosecution have said both her claims that mum visited at 8pm and 10pm are falsified. And tbh it makes sense.

Also I'm very confused about why LL is now claiming Caroline Oakley was in the room with her and didn't observe blood, when the mum says no one else was there and there's been no notes or evidence to suggest this, wasn't brought up in police interview or cross exam either. @Tofino what else did they say about Caroline Oakley?
With regards to the retrospective notes, i often write a note a few hours into my shift with care and ward round comments, then i'll update it just before the end. Eg it would initially be timed at 10am with a note for the morning, then i click "correct note" and update it at say 6pm. So the timing on my note might be finalised at 6pm but i have probably updated it throughout the day (though i manually type the times i've updated). Also if its a busy shift you often dont have opportunity to document til later.

You can’t change username on tattle but might be worth going to the site section of the forum and ask mods and see if they can help.
Thanks, I'm in the middle of writing out a message but for the life of me I can't think of a new username 😂

I am sorry but I find it weird and unacceptable tbh.

This is probably the Reddit thread with medical professionals PP was on about. Tbh a lot of the responses are similar to here.

It’s user ‘aggravating south 28’ posting journals and claiming to be a scientist who has done forensic work that is the main contributor. But they are not based in UK, doesn’t even understand that the neonatal unit doctors were not medical experts but witnesses (can’t understand why nhs medical experts are being used because the alleged crimes occurred within the nhs). Can’t understand why it’s even got this far or continuing, called it akin to a Salem witch trial. It’s easy to kill a preterm baby yet fails 10+ time so it’s nonsense. And that she took a break which coincided with deaths she’s not accused of.

Tbh some of the forensic science stuff would be interesting but they lost me with all the other conspiracy theory stuff. A few samples below but they post quite a lot.

I’m actually struggling to answer because it’s not like Brockhill where you think the entire thing is bull and a performance. It is possible the stressed appearance is genuine, because I don’t think you can fake that rapid blinking for the entire time. But I don’t think that her stress = innocent. I think it’s because this is her only chance to get out of prison and if she doesn’t she knows it’s for life.

Apart from the tears for baby E, I heard no emotion in her voice. I am 100% certain in my mind she’s lying about baby E’s mum. And so many other things don’t add up either. But I’m making that decision based on her version vs others rather than the way she answered. Her answers were mostly really short. So there isn’t a huge opportunity to judge, whereas Brockhill couldn’t keep her gob shut. I think she’s careful to give short brief answers.

I think it will be much, much clearer with cross examination.

He doesn’t have a profile because a while back he was posting on Facebook wanting me to send him a referral link to join! (Tattle are not accepting new members at the mo).
Thank you. I hope NJ really gets stuck into her at cross examination then. Ruffle her feathers.

I was reading their posts last night and I was thinking if all this is true then why is she on trial in the first place? Surely the defence would have access to all this info aswell, they talk in such medical terms it makes it hard to follow being honest, and every post is about a year long 😂 looking at their profile the last time they were commenting prior to this trial was about ghislaine maxwell, again the posts are pages long so I didn't bother even looking at them 😂 they do sound very informed and clever but it could be all bull for all I know.

Remembering very small details about patients blows my mind as one time my nursing manager questioned me about X patient on X date about 3 months previous due to a complaint and I couldn’t even recall the patient. I literally had to write that on the form. I think he mustn’t have been my patient but honestly idk. I guess it’s different on an adult general ward as night shifts usually involved being assigned nurse for 8-16 patients depending on staffing.

That Reddit thread is full of smart arses that just want to think of some poor person being used as scapegoat

If she was a scapegoat there wouldn’t be foul play proven
Scapegoats do not have hundreds of documents they shouldn’t have in their home, they don’t search up families etc constantly
The only defence BM really has is making the whole thing look vague, yet when you go back to the prosecution notes it explains it properly. He’s not exactly convincing for me, cos he’s not denying that any of these things happened, or said it could be poor training and she was oblivious, he’s basically saying there is someone doing bad stuff on that ward, but it isn’t her and anything that makes it look like her is coincidental

I'm really intrigued to see where this clash about the mother visiting and seeing blood goes. Re-capping with the wiki is very interesting in that it seems like such an easy thing to explain away? There's mention of a mucky vomit/aspirate around 9pm. So okay - the mother visited, heard about/witnessed fluid around the babies mouth, mistook it for blood or mis-remembers it as blood. Simple misunderstanding, no big deal.

But instead the claim is that this 9pm visit simply didn't happen, which is such an odd contradiction??? Feeding chart says a 9pm feed was due, mother remembers it as 9pm, father remembers it as 9pm. Interestingly the father also recalls re-assuring his wife over the phone, telling her to stop panicking and let the nurses do their job.

He had 2 phonecalls in which he could reassure his wife, 9:11pm and 10:52pm. But 10:52pm was actually a midwife getting in touch to say his baby is severely unwell and he needs to get to the hospital, so really he could only have done it at 9:11pm. Which means... his wife must have visited prior to this, and seen something concerning, SURELY?

Yup, no doubt in my mind it happened as the mother said, simply because the alternative story that we have been offered doesn't add up at all!

Sorry to derail but going back to James or whatshisname who said he can’t join tattle because it’s full… if so then why do I see people posting with the title new member? Or is that just based on how many posts they’ve made rather than how recent the account is?
