This gives the statement a little more context. I don’t think it was meant as the fault of the babies, he was referring to it being an underlying cause in the baby leading to it.

In other thoughts, I hope the jury are booking themselves a holiday this summer. I feel like they’ve really had to go way above and beyond here for their time. Don’t know how they’re taking it all in.

I genuinely don’t think I could be that close to such pure evil, y’all are very brave imo. I think I’d be shaking if I was in the same room as her, could probably cope watching it on a stream though.
I am super curious about how she looks and reacts to stuff though. I know some reports have said she looks kind of blank, but is she blank as in completely emotionless, or blank as in she’s trying not to show her emotion?

If I recall correctly I think she was going to drive the car home at the end of her shift but start of his? And he was going to collect next day at the end of his shift. So I don’t think a partner would notice that.

Catching up but I guess this explains her emotional reaction at his presence in court. He was promising to go to the bat for her and now he's a prosecution witness!

I'm the other side of the country and if I didn't have 2 young kids I'd be booking my travelodge now!! I sat in a murder trial at the Old Bailey once and it was so weird experiencing the humdrum process whilst they discussed this timid looking man stabbing his wife!

Yeah I think that’s what was missing today, as it was mostly slides we didn’t get to see alot of LL, although I’m not sure u would unless u were in the actual court room as it appeared as though it’s just one camera for the whole room and it’s not positioned to focus on anyone, but again that may change when people take the stand. I saw the barrister talking, and the jury being handed notes and LL being given some, but again all from one angle.

I’m in Scotland so no chance of going along. Jealous of those who are able to though! It feels a bit weird saying that given the nature of this particular trial, but I’ve done jury service in the past and find the whole courtroom process very interesting. Grateful for those here who can share their experience with the rest of us!

I always got older vibes off the way he’s sounded in these messages. Bet he’s been with his wife since uni. Maybe all he’s known for many many years. I bet he’s from a good family, well to do and educated. So she was what, 26 at this point. He’s a doctor who had slightly older children (I’m thinking primary age) so I’m putting him well into his 30s. Or mid forties. Probably fairly decent looking. Friendly by nature, and she’s exploited that and it turned his head. He’s never done anything before her, and I’m not totally convinced they did do anything other than this friendly flirting. A kiss at best. But nonetheless over the mark for a married man.

Idk, if he has a Mrs and family then he is genuine trash if anything happened between them.

Yes this is what was reported

Easter break begins on Good Friday (April 7) and the jury will return on April 17 at noon.

The court hears the jury will also not be sitting on April 18.
