Ok so just listening to podcast for O, LL actually called Noname to come down to NNU from Another part of hospital to check on O (after she’d attacked him and her and Noname had been messaging all day), sorry but that’s even more cause to think that it was all to do with Noname her hurting these last few babies and being more reckless/careless in doing so

Also I think there’s a reason Dan was slow with updates, there’s a reason mark wasn’t there also. I know Dan isn’t usually as detailed as mark but he usually tweets far more than he has today. Maybe it is some kind of reporting restrictions or they knew it was going to be a slow day given mark is always there at the start of a new baby 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dans report from today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-65019048 not much extra info so wonder if today was a short day with few witnesses

From today 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

She pricked herself on purpose didn't she? That poor Dr seems like a genuinely nice fool, little did he realise the babies he was crying over were murdered by his love interest for his attention.
---
Also podcast tweeted this, LL ready with her explanation of what happened 🙄, think the colleague’s reaction shows how unexpected O’s collapse was. Recommend listening to podcast on O, especially how LL sent especially for Noname after attacking O 😡🤢

ETA LL actually crash bleeped Noname twice for O (and attacked him for 2nd time once Noname left to update the parents) 😱I don’t have the words right now 😡
33 weeks, they weren't even that early 😭 she's a monster.

this is horrible. I know it’s not a popular opinion but I genuinely feel so sorry for the doctor that’s been pulled in to this by her.
I was just thinking this. He seems to care about his job and these babies.

I think it's also hard for him as even if we aren't getting his identity, there will be people who know this is him and are seeing all these messages he thought were private.
---
No I actually agree. I feel so sorry for pretty much ALL the staff that worked at the hospital. Not only have they been the ones that have seemed to on trial, they also have to deal with the repercussions of this forever and being associated with this trial and LL. I can’t imagine how they’ve felt realising they were working alongside an evil unknown force, that turned out to be their colleague. I also think that the early babies were partly for attention from colleagues before it was for attention from Noname, and living with that must be horrendous for all of them. I think it’s really important to remember that the only person responsible for murdering these babies is LUCY LETBY herself

Would really suggest everyone that can listens to this weeks podcast, how anyone can think she’s innocent after hearing that and seeing yet the usual repeated patterns is beyond me. She also tries to blame sepsis again yet both babies she suggested this for both did in fact NOT have sepsis. I hate the way she has the explanations for what happened ready. She also texts colleagues again afterwards, even the podcast points out this became the usual thing she did😡😡😡🤢🤢🤢 she’s something else she really is, don’t think there’s adjectives strong enough to describe what a monster she is
My son has sepsis (group b strep) and his belly wasn't ballooning and from all the signs and symptoms I read (I panic at the thought of him developing it again so am regularly reminding myself) and I haven't seen it as a symptom.

She says in her text message that she’s an only child… sorry if I’ve missed it but did anyone work out who the birthday tribute was from? -

I thought it was her brothers but it doesn’t sound like she has any if that’s correct?
I thought this because she mentions them in the post it note too ( half brothers?)
Is it just me or seeing her a little girl who was obviously doted on by her parents and family really sad. Now on trial for mass murder.

it’s just so sad for all concerned.

I must admit to being a right saddo and doing a deep facebook dive last week and found some photos of Lucy Letby and friends when she was a lot younger that I don't think I've seen in the press.

Even though I've been firmly of the belief she's guilty from the start (although open to admitting I'm wrong if the evidence isn't compelling enough) , she looks so bloody wholesome, inoffensive and dorky in these pics that even I thought "there must have been a mistake, she can not be capable of these heinous crimes!" So for me to think that when I've strongly believed she did it I can totally see how she managed to go under the radar for a long time! If she is guilty I think her friends and family are going to be absolutely shell-shocked.

Her poor colleagues, they must be traumatised, I'd never trust anyone ever again after this!

Listened to podcast. Words cannot describe the awfulness. 33 weeks weighing over 4 pounds each, everything looking good until LL came back from holiday. She was messaging Dr No Name for 4 hours at home the night after baby O passed away. I cannot get my head round this relationship. He was definitely very keen on her and maybe she felt the same way about him or was she just manipulative. He must be mortified now to have so much of his relationship with her exposed in such detail. Also it was mentioned in the podcast the chance of identical triplets was something like 1 in 250,000 and all sharing a placenta makes the chance of a successful pregnancy even more of a risk, yet the mum got all the way through these obstacles only for such monstrous treatment by LL. Melanie Taylor Shift Leader suggested to LL to move baby O to room 1 but LL didn't agree and overruled Melanie Taylor's suggestion and then a little while later the baby collapsed. Melanie Taylor now feels she should perhaps have been firmer and she has to live with that knowledge which isn't nice for her. Ben Myers arguments against baby O being murdered sounded feeble and pathetic.

I think as a child she was probably totally doted on by her parents, could do no wrong in their eyes and was likely spoiled rotten. If there were any spats at school it would always be the other child's fault and not Lucy's. At Christmas and birthdays I bet she was always over indulged. I could be completely wrong but this is how I imagine it to be.

I totally get the mollycoddled and doted on vibe too. I have no idea what that feels like as my parents are the polar opposite but I would imagine it fuels arrogance, I wonder if she thinks, despite this she will still be the apple of their eye 🙄

Yes this was my thinking too. Attention seeking bleep

Absolutely, I really do feel for the staff. Especially as the dastardly BM has basically made a lot of them feel as if they’re the ones on trial. Oh the benefit of hindsight hey
So for me to think that when I've strongly believed she did it I can totally see how she managed to go under the radar for a long time! If she is guilty I think her friends and family are going to be absolutely shell-shocked
See this is the crux of why many seemed to struggle to believe she could be guilty of such heinous crimes, if even her own colleagues struggled to believe she’s guilty then I can understand why Joe Public also struggled (not going to lie atm I can’t understand how anyone still thinks she’s innocent at this point) to believe it. Although we do have it all wrapped up neatly and presented with all the evidence . At the time I can fully understand how she went undetected for so long, so much just didn’t make sense at the time
BIB must absolutely destroy him, what a weight to be burdened with, poor man.
I also do really feel sorry for him. Interestingly he deffo isn’t showing any signs of believing her/defending her now tho, wonder if that’s why she was so upset, knowing he’s witness for the prosecution 🤔. This is from court today:

Couldn’t agree with this more, exactly what I got from the podcast too. And yes I bet MT has regrets, I bet so many of them do, partly again why I feel sorry for them all. Also very telling that LL refused to have O moved from her evil clutches (so she could attack him for 2nd time, and imo so that she could call Noname back 😡🤢)

I think BM’s defence of this so far is so weak, it’s so obvious how well those little boys were doing, the fact LL was even texting about them whilst in Ibiza is very telling too, soon as she’s home they’re hunted down like prey 😩😩😩

ETA LL was definitely mollycoddled going by her txts with Noname:

I agree with the two posters above about her relationship with parents

Just finished the podcast. Echoing @OldBlondie and @tay65 when I say that was a bloody hard listen. I actually feel sick thinking about what total miracles these baby boys were, these were the two healthier and bigger boys of the three too.
Not a speck of doubt in my mind that she killed them. Dr Bohin said there is no innocent explanation for the huge amounts of gas in baby o’s bowel in X-ray pre death and huge amounts of air in his vessels in X-ray taken after. Liver injuries are incredibly rare in cpr. This baby died at the hands of Letby. “Gulped air” “ballooned from lunch” you were his bleeping nurse! He didn’t have an infection or problems. He didn’t respond to 5 experienced doctors efforts. He was a healthy almost 5lb 33 week baby on very low support. One of her colleagues texts saying “we have no luck with this gestation” these babies should have a 99% chance of survival. They have no luck because they’re being killed.
She is a vile, evil, subhuman, weird, basic bleep.

@docmum I agree I feel very sorry for Noname, we all tease but clearly apart from being a bit wet, he is just trying to be kind to her. I can see that he probably wants something more with her but I am still seeing absolutely no romance whatsoever?? Nothing that justified her reaction when he first took the stand. Their chat is utterly dry 😑 I think she’s just happy to have someone willing to text 24/7.
I agree @OldBlondie that she ramps up for his benefit. It’s too irresistible and he certainly delivers the sympathy and constant attention.

Gosh he was the same gestation and weight as my daughter. We never thought we were at risk of losing her despite her being born septic. LL is evil.

Interesting it was on the final resuscitation attempt she pricked herself on needle (imo on purpose and deliberate, and not a coincidence it was on the final attempt too I think ) from sky news:

Also from sky news. And if this doesn’t scream attention seeker then I don’t know what else could 🚩🚩🚩🚩:

I don’t believe she even fainted myself tbh

Just sitting here processing everything I’ve heard so far about O&P (and obvs there’s going to be way more we haven’t heard about). This is nuts when you think about it, she’s away on hols whilst on hols Noname tells her about the triplets, the minute she’s back she kills one within just a few hours of starting her shift. Bleeps Noname back herself to NNU after she makes her first attempt on O’s (the stronger ones) life, Noname then leaves to update parents and she goes for him the second time, and bleeps Noname back again herself. Then exchanges messages about O with colleagues and Noname most of the evening/night after killing O. Comes back in the next day, kills P (pricking herself in finger on the final resuscitation attempt). Goes to a&e where Noname makes sure she’s seen quickly, and she tells him how everyone knew what had happened and was talking about it🤢🤢🤢 Messages Noname the rest of the night after he takes her home after a&e. Throws in a few dramatic performances in the hospital were she’s bawling her eyes out and as upset as the parents, dresses both O and P after she’s killed them both, within 24hrs of each other and 24hours of being back to work after two weeks off (two incident free weeks), and then photographs and wheels them into the parents 🤮 forever tainting the parents last memories. Txts Noname saying about how the two deceased (by her hand) babies looked together in the cot. Throws in a weird txt about the parent’s age. Makes up some explanations of what may have caused their sudden deaths which she txts to colleagues. Won’t take the weekend off as suggested by consultant (especially after her dramatic floods of tears performance). Goes back to the work the next day (sat) and is all happy go lucky the very next day. I mean this sounds like some made up horror plot. She’s an absolute monster and this shows her for exactly the torturous psychopath she is 😡

Bloody hell, don’t know how I missed this. For some reason I thought Q was a couple of days later😱. Three babies in three days 😮 deffo has to be for Nonames benefit, I mean that’s a serious escalation. And the fact at this stage she thought she was being headhunted for some kind of new job shows she really did think she was getting away with it. By this stage its no wonder the consultants had serious suspicions and insisted on her being removed from caring for babies, will be interesting to hear exactly how she was placed on admin too. Wow 3 babies in 3 days that’s something else isn’t it

ETA the only positive of her ramping up and escalating (feels wrong even saying a positive tbh), is that she has become more careless it seems, and as @MmmB777 said earlier on in the thread the evidence for these babies is particularly strong compared to some of the others, which helps the prosecution massively. If she’s guilty of the insulin and these then she’s guilty of them all, don’t know how you could think she’s guilty of some and not others and at the beginning the judge did say that you can base your verdict on the case a whole. They’ve got her I’m sure of it

I'm interested to see how she was put on admin duties and what her reactions were to this.

I keep thinking of what the doctor said last week, about how she passed him in the corridor, happy and confidently smiling. It's haunting.

I hope something is done as a legacy to these babies.

Oh god....I've been unsure and on the fence all the way up til now, there is something v sinister about her interactions with the DR, I think it was a ploy to show off to him, to show what a competent nurse she was while "saving" them, sadly she diced with death and death won, god knows how many other attempts there has been. 100% an attention seeking ploy and saviour complex, will be interested to see the poll results in next thread off the back of today.
