I'm catching up on a few pages and I can't remember if it's ever mentioned, but does she ever question why she's only on day shifts and not nights?

In the timeline, is she on day shifts only now?

The friends I have that work in the medical world seemed to do a mix of nights/days.
No I think somebody else in a text to her has pointed out that they saw she doesn’t have any nights now. Same person also says we don’t see each other when we’re on shift together anyway as they are always such manic shifts 👀😬

I don't suppose it's anything we haven't heard already in the write ups or podcast but this vlogger has been doing a deep dive. I haven't had chance to watch all the way as they're quite long but looks as though she takes time to explain and use pictures to show some of the terms and procedures being discussed in court.

Oh I love Stephanie Harlowe. I’ll definitely be watching this. Interested to hear what she makes of it.
(To those interested she also does Crime Weekly podcast on past or cold cases).

Oh yes I missed it was Q as well as O. so Dr Noname brings up baby Q and baby O in his messages to her on 27th? Was it him that logged the datix on 29th (she probably knew this from him!) so she logs one on 30th?
I might need you to walk me through this? What does he say about q&o?
Eta baby O was doing so well. For triplets they were so healthy. Just awful.

I think that's pretty normal given the context. If I've fancied a colleague I've always massively played it down with friends at work cos gossip like that spreads across the hospital quicker than a virus! Then you wouldn't want it to be too awkward with colleagues if it didn't work out.
I went on a tinder date with a Dr from another ward, didn't tell anyone I worked with even tho I'm still good friends with some of the other nurses, I just couldn't have handled the 😏😏 faces anytime he came to cover or if I got sent over there 😂
I'd just be open with it. I'm fit AF. It's a privilege to be fancied by me. 😂😂😂

I didn't say it does.

I said, the defence haven't presented their case which they have stated is based on confirmation bias.

Any whiff of an email trace from ANY Dr or expert that either disagrees/sways an opinion, will be used as evidence and BM can say he's done his job.
I put it to you, that this ‘evidence’ is beyond feeble.
When my friend was a witness the defence lawyer repeatedly said ‘I put it to you’ insert something that didn’t actually happen, to the point of my friend thinking ‘what the hell are you talking about’.
There was pretty solid evidence too.

Exactly this. Did Dr. E plant air by the spines of these babies? Did he fix it so Letby was there for umpteen strange and sudden collapses? So there is a poisoner and it’s not Letby despite her hanging both bags that started the hypos but everyone is just interested in stitching her up. Make it make sense 😑 I think Dr E reports have been reviewed by two or three others also, they mentioned at the start one person had sadly died since.
It’s an extremely elaborate money making scheme for Dr E and he’s defo having the time of his life up there with BM too. I bet he retires after this, poor bloke!
AMEN !

I would put money on that starshine.
As he’s a prosecution witness now she probably feels he’s f’ed her over. She may of confided in him.

Can anyone remember which baby it was the parents of who she text a colleague about trying to imply they were having sex in hospital accommodation? I’ve tried Googling but I can’t remember what she described the mum as wearing so it’s not helping me search 🙈

There's risk to him if his name is leaked.

You really think vigilantes wouldn't try and attack the guy who shagged a serial baby murderer?
It’s bizarre though as he’s actually a witness for the prosecution and from what I can see isn’t culpable in any way. I don’t see how he’d be attacked but then again I’m not a vigilante. 😂

Hmm it’s just during this case all the nurses are called nurses but then Amy Davies took the stand (baby L&M) and court was told she was a neonatal practitioner - grade 6 - but looked like she was doing similar stuff to nurses.
So just wasn’t sure if there was a difference.
Maybe the band 5s were considered staff nurses. Band 6 is a senior nurse so might be why that's her job title.

I’d say kegs for knickers, boxers and trousers and I’m newcastle 🤣I often say to my 16m old that he can just wear his kegs and it’s his nappy🤣🤣
Newcastle here too and I use it the same way but more for knickers and boxers than trousers. Haven't used it for the baby's Nappy tho 🤔

I suppose there is just so much that we don’t know - rightly.

It’s really hard to understand. I know this wasn’t the case for Harold Shipman but most serial killers have a sexual motive and this isn’t the case here. With Shipman, I don’t know an awful lot about it but wasn’t it financial gain?
Didn’t he witness a doctor giving morphine injections to his mother as part of palliative care when he was quite young? I remember seeing a documentary years ago that speculated that was his primary motivation, being the “saviour” and preventing suffering/ending life. Then the financial aspect came later on.

You can tell the colleague is amused and clearly recognises that LL fancies the doctor despite her protests saying otherwise.
Yeah I think when I’ve re-read them I think she’s trying quash rumours or suggestion she fancies him but I think she did.
I think for her friend to make the comment about go commando though suggests he’s been inappropriate at some point.
I just hope this “relationship” doesn’t distract from any genuine evidence he can give

Yes, that 'sounds like my kind of case' sounds exactly to me as if it's a response to a previous email. Wonder why that didnt get brought up?

According to this report it looks like he contacted the NCA first

In his message to “Nick” at the NCA's national injuries database, Dr Evans wrote: “Incidentally I've read about the high rate of babies in Chester and that the police are investigating.
"Do they have a paediatric/neonatal contact? I was involved in neonatal medicine for 30 years including leading the intensive care set-up in Swansea. I've also prepared numerous neonatal cases where clinical negligence was alleged.
“If the Chester police had no-one in mind I'd be interested to help. Sounds like my kind of case.
“I understand that the Royal College (of Paediatrics and Child Health) has been involved but from my experience the police are far better at investigating this sort of problem.”
