Hi there, new to this. Have been following the case, never really followed anything before. I won’t comment on what I think right now, but I do have a couple of questions. I understand the prosecution are putting forward their case with agreed facts from the defence. Do they then put forward their case with other evidence? That are not agreed facts? If this is a stupid question I do apologise! I know the prosecution said their were other notes. Could this be explored later on? Also the defence so far haven’t really offered an alternative- apart from sub optimal care from the hospital and that obviously the babies were considered vulnerable due to their prematurity. I know this is a long trial, extremely complex and very difficult to prove for lots of reasons.

I have also spent money in matalan this week (sorry to the matalan are guys fellas) but I’m fully in the grips of being a 40yr old fella with an old fella (nice not not-nice) and no longer a single 25yr old fella in my prime fella years 
For me, this trial hinges around the insulin. Even if things were missed with the other babies causing them to crash, the insulin was deliberately administered.
If it is determined that it was LL that administered that insulin deliberately, then I can't see how she can be anything other than guilty of the attempted murder of those babies. Which, to me at least, then makes her incredibly likely to be guilty of the others too.
Does anyone know if insulin is routinely stored on NICU? Just wondering how she would have accessed it if no babies were prescribed it at the time.

Not personally no, although as I said before in this thread i do own a lot of Matalan pajama bottoms - they hold up better than Primark ones and don’t go thin in the wash!

Sorry but matalan suitcases, Christmas decor and baby clothes are amazing and I'm dying on this beige hill.
I’m assuming it would’ve been stored in the drugs cupboard on the unit. The drugs cupboard always has a stock of the most used drugs on any particular ward, sounds like it’s semi-regular for NICU babies to need help regulating their blood sugars so it may well have been in the cupboard. I’m not sure what the signing out process for it would be though, but if one random bottle went missing, it would probably be put down to a
stocking mistake.
Edit: just had a brain fart and forgotten it’s stored in the fridge, but it would still probably be constantly in stock in the fridge, if anything for emergency use if a baby had dangerously high BM’s.

I thought the general consensus was not to have jokey titles given that these threads are to discuss an ongoing murder trial, and out of respect for the families. Would hate for them to potentially come across these threads one day, not understand the ‘in joke’ titles and think we were taking the piss

you’re right, the clothes I wouldn’t waste money on as they are appalling quality, but the homeware stuff is good. The kids clothes are good too, not the greatest quality but if you can’t afford anything more expensive they’re perfectly nice.- Status
