Did we ever establish why the Dr yesterday wasn't "a nice fella"?
This is the most persuasive thing I've seen yet tbh... And you know I've got arse splinters from fence sitting.. Or should that be hovering.. Which I have special talent for. This is the point I have been trying to make this week after going back over the prosecutions outline. It’s a pattern we see in each case.
It's sad but unless the defence have something amazing I think the very very very sad reality is is that she did this.I've voted unsure so far but this is the first time I'm heading towards guilty
No not at all. She was severely disabled, couldn't walk, talk etc, ended up with a tracheostomy, air Flo, oxygen and passed away the day after she turned 9. She went through A LOT, but was always happy and smiley xxxxI agree with you re Dr Evans, I think he just wanted to blame Letby regardless.
sorry to hear about your daughter, how old is she now and what did the brain damage mean for her life growing up? Sorry if I’ve put my questions wrong, I don’t want to insult you but I couldn’t read and not respond x
Why do you keep saying he’s not a nice fella? You don’t know anything about him other than he’s a court witness with medical background? The expert do you mean?? He's not a fella he also is investigating for the NCA. he's not a nice fella. Not nice one bit
Sorry, I call BS on this. If it’s such an awful place to work, why do so many of the staff still work there who worked with LL? If she’s a scapegoat and they know it, why are they giving evidence AGAINST her? Are they all in cahoots? I seriously doubt it. Sounds like you’re trying to push the innocent agenda by claiming you know someone who knows her. In fact, evidence in most cases is circumstantial. Is a handwritten confession note circumstantial? The woman is a baby killer. At the start of this trial I realised that I used to know someone who had some knowledge of the goings on at CoC. In 2019 I briefly dated a very senior and experienced neonatal advanced practitioner who worked at a hospital nearby to CoC. At the time she told me there were awful things going on there and that one of the nurses had been wrongly accused of terrible things and she felt the truth would come out eventually. She said that all neonatal nurses at hospitals in the area knew the truth about CoC but would not elaborate further other than to say it was known to be an awful place to work. She never mentioned LL by name. She was very professional and strict about patient confidentiality etc. She had knowledge of the details of some of the collapses/deaths and felt that LL was the scapegoat. I never knew who she was talking about or any detail at all until this trial started.
Also how much from 7 years ago do any of us remember? How many days at work, conversations had, do any of us remember?!I think its very interesting that there are a lot of “I don’t know, can’t be sure, can’t recall” answers coming from witnesses. This automatically weakens the prosecution case and casts doubt.
Oh my days thankyouI’ve read all of your posts across these threads and I just wanted to say even through this forum I can tell you must of been the most kind and compassionate professional nurse. You can honestly feel how kind and caring you are through my phone! Your children and grandchildren are very lucky![]()
