I do think like mine they are working class and they can allow a treat every now and again. Probably most of the income comes from the dad. That's how it works in working class families. Not including lucille or Laura or her brother in that. The family income comes from her dad. I do hope she treats her dad to something nice next. My family is working class too and we get by ok. Occasionally have the odd treat. I had a thought about them never having a holiday. I know it's lucille's money and she does treat her family like bringing her mam away. If she wanted to before she could easily saved maybe the same amount she's saving for the mortgage and save towards a holiday for her family. I know she loves making memories. It would be lovely for all her family. I know it's not lucille's job to do that. I'm just mentioning it cause she is the one with the most money and she does treat her family. I know holidays are expensive. There are so many deals online with hotels and flights. A friend of mine went to Spain and stayed in a super fancy hotel it was only €40 a night. I'm irish so it's euros for me. You'd need spending money too but the family can try and save a bit too. It would be an incredible experience for them all to have together. Maybe just the family that lives in the house. I know it can't be done now for the time being with Laura just going to have a baby and lucille saving for a house. Or even in the future she could treat just her parents to a holiday abroad for an anniversary. It's just a nice idea. I know it's not lucille's job to treat them to a holiday. I was just thinking she could easily have saved for it in the past and I know family is really important to them. Sorry for babbling
I know with the virus no one will be going on any holidays any time soon.
Just to say I have no problem with their trips to Costa or takeaways. That's how they treat themselves. Probably go without to allow themselves a treat. When they do go to Costa their actually my favourite vlog. We won't see that again for a while.

I've never been on holiday myself but even I know there are so many hotels that you can stay at for super cheap. Like really nice hotels. I know say if 5 of them went for a week and say 40 euro a night I know that would be expensive with all of them. I say there are deals for that for a group of people. I just think lucille could easily have afforded a holiday for them before. I just thought of this, it would have made great content for a vlog. I would save up the money in secret even if it took a year or months. Then I'd announce to the family I'm taking them on holiday, she could have done this on a vlog. Obviously with a bit of notice to sort passports. Then she could have vlogged abroad with her family making lots of memories that sounds great. I kept hearing before about how the family can't afford a holiday. I know her parents and other family could never probably. I think lucille definitely could afford it with saving up. You might need a few thousand pounds. Lucille was saving for nothing before and had plenty of money same as now. She could easily do it. Holidays are expensive but I don't think hotels or flights would be too big a problem. So many deals online for hotels and cheap flights. You'd mainly have to worry about having money to live on while on holiday. I think it be doable, I don't think a holiday would be out of their reach. I think it would have been cool. I heard lucille say before they couldn't afford a holiday but if that was me I would have started saving up for one. That is something I would do. I have very little money. If there's a birthday coming up I like to surprise my family member with something they really wanted and I save up for it. I just think it would have been a nice surprise for her family. She's a small youtuber but she might have been able to get a deal with a hotel or something a bit of a discount.I don't have a problem with Lucille and I know it's her money. If I had the money she has I'd have been up for a holiday a long time ago.

)I wouldn't want a job that was contracted 16 hours only in case the overtime was difficult to get. I know Lucille does seem to get a lot which is good but it's not something she can rely on. I'd rather just get a 35 hour contract/regular 9-5.30 and not have the stress each month.

I just think lucille never thought of it that she could save for a holiday. Many people do and they work towards their holiday. I think if she had thought of it she would have been great for saving for it. It might have taken a while but I know she would have done it. She's saving for her house now. A treat is nice every now and again. If they cut back some of it you'd save quite a bit. I know like they have a pizza or a takeaway once a week and that's their treat and I think they deserve it. Gossiping doesn't have to be inherently negative; it can be a casual back and forth. I think it's important for people to be able to counter with a different opinion or angle without it being interpreted as support or a defence of someone, especially with a topic like this where we all might view/prioritise money or work differently. We all can be and are critical on here but differing opinions/perspectives are healthy, I think.
Not at all. I have no problem gossiping about her like I have before I'm just trying to be nice towards her. I do have problems with her too. Just trying not to be too negative
I don’t get the impression she is good at saving at all! Until this year I worked in retail for £7.57 an hour, I still bought my car outright & went on 2/3 expensive holidays a year. Mainly because I did not indulge in payday treats like Lucille seems to as I consider it throwing money down the toilet

I would say that Lucille really doesnt indulge in payday treats. She very rarely buys anything apart from costa and mcdonalds. Not to stand up for lucille too much but she clearly saves the majority of her earnings, and spends it on things she really wants which is good.
I find her attitude to money actually a bit frustrating as I dont like it when people feel guilty for spending their own money, saving is good but youve also got to live your life and enjoy it.

Please, for the love of God, can someone teach her how to make engaging content? I feel like the very 101 of being a YouTuber is gesticulating and engaging your body and whatever else in order to make the content interesting even when it's just you talking to a camera. I say it all the time but she is just too rigid in her own body to be in front of a camera.
I only found her last year when I went through a period of watching what I eats in a day as mindless content to fall asleep to, but how long has she had a channel?. It is like she is totally out of ideas?
She’s had her main channel for 3 years I think it only started to get views and subscribers about 2 years or less ago though
I watched her what I got for my birthday cause I only wanted really to see what Michael got for her. It kept getting v close to the end. I was like what about Michael, what did he get you. At the very end, she went my boyfriend got me some flowers. Like an afterthought and showed a quick flash of them. She showed a quick second of them too in her vlog too. I was really expecting Michael to send her maybe a necklace too or something. We've seen them give each other thoughtful gifts before but why not now especially on her birthday. They've been apart for ages. My boyfriend whenever we meet up he always surprises me with a few little bracelets and some chocolate. It wouldn't even be my birthday. He was just thinking of me. Last time before the virus he gave me two lovely little bracelets, a ring and some chocolate just because. These aren't expensive. They're just cute little bracelets but the point is he was thinking of me. He always arrives with something

Lucille is family oriented I think to the extreme. I think how I feel about my boyfriend is how she feels about her family. She's in love with her family. Sometimes when she speaks of her family she gets very excited the way you would if you were talking about the love of your life. Maybe that's how it is if you're very family oriented. I'm sure we all love our families. She sounds more in love when she talks about her family than when she talks about Michael is my point. She gets giddy and excited and she should be like that about Michael too. Maybe they're just a couple where they don't have to be lovey all the time and are fine being apart. We've seen them in vlogs together being very lovey dovey. So why isn't lucille talking about Michael at all.? Lucille can't be that interested in him either. I lived at home, same as Lucille, so I paid board to my parents rather than rent rent. But yes, I also paid for my petrol, insurance, food, hobbies, social life etc. I was just an absolute money hoarder! I despaired of people who were like its payday treat yourself they always seemed to be the ones who made it two weeks into the month and had no money.
