I don't believe this statement for a minute. If you look at her original post when the Drive announcement came out, there was nothing there to indicate this was short term. Even in the comments underneath that she was interacting with people telling her 'this is your time to shine' 'your big break' etc

This statement shows that she has no ambition and is happy to be a bridesmaid.

Tbh I'd say anyone who was employed and had other revenues or means like podcasts, sponsorship weren't renewed contracts, she should ahve known better though coz they chose doireann over her for dancing with the stars, which I thought was awful bad form

I’m no fan but I think she would have been good on DWTS, her speech wouldn’t have been so pronounced. She had a huge knowledge and was genuinely into it. And she already ‘worked’ with Jen Z and had a bit of a rapport with her. But no, gave it to a Garrihy who was woeful wringing her hands and fake laughin.

Personally I think there’s a lot more under the surface and that’s why she’s trying to get ahead of this whole thing by saying she’s parted ways with her management company. Lottie, Bonnie, the whole lot of them have this superior complex along with being extremely entitled

Why would RTE go to the effort of doing promo photos of her & David if it was only for 5 weeks? She covered Jen's maternity on Breakfast and I don't remember as much of a fuss either from her or 2FM - it definitely came across from her that she had finally "arrived" and got the show she craved with Drive

I reckon she's put out this statement to save face for all parties involved and she'll be rewarded down the line either in 2FM or the DWTS gig.
