He won't have got insurance. I can confirm getting insurance when you're that ill is nigh on impossible. When my partner was recovered and we tried to get it, it was almost impossible and I wasn't willing to risk going without it. There are specialist companies that deal with this kind of thing but even they have their limits.

I did stick up for her last week when she was posting from her house. I still think that was ok as wouldn’t have taken that long and she would have been with John, but her behaviour since has really baffled me. At best I can say she’s in denial but it really doesn’t come across well at all. i know bills have to be paid but there hasn’t even been a pause. Only thing I can think of is that they found out way before they let everybody know.

Lorna doesn’t care about passing on germs and viruses to her ailing husband! As long as SHE’s okay. That’s all that matters.

I think there’s a subtext with all this travel and “continuing as normal” when he’s got a very serious, very unpleasant, very challenging cancer.

It’s an extension of her thinking she’s better than everyone else. So cancer isn’t going to get in her way. Life doesn’t stop for her just because of John’s pesky illness. She thinks it’s making her look strong and a great coper in such adversity, but actually she’s one of life’s poor copers.

Imagine though, as someone said a few weeks ago, imagine if the tables were turned. Bearing in mind this little poisonous creature can’t cope with a flu…
