I totally understand that Liz wouldn't want to gove up the animals she has..But why, as a bankrupt supposedly keenly aware of and made distraught by her alleged financial struggles, does she keep adding more?
She just collects them, like dolls. She has no idea about how to look after them, and used to claim Flower Fairy Bebb was a 'behaviourist' (online certificate in Bach remedies), but has stopped recently. I am starting to suspect Bebb has been 'let go', tbh.
Can or does she ride?

Liz moans that women won't sacrifice a personal life for a professional life, yet where did that get Liz?
She is in her 60s, no partner, no family that will speak to her, no friends that don't work for her, no money and no security. She sees all relationships as coin operated, and doesn't understand why putting in coin after coin doesn't dispense undying loyalty.
She is incapable of admitting that women can be successful without sacrificing friends and family, because doing so would be admitting that her own sorry state was her fault for being so difficult to be around.
She loves animals because they are the only living things in life that can not escape when they are sick of her.

It must have been dreadful going into work daily to face being treated like that. Bullying will not get more or better work out of people.
Mistake #1 is how she defines success. Her career hasn't even made her happy. I know people with practically nothing who love their life, which obviously includes family and friends.
She's such a vile, self-deluded, superficial creature that knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.

You can’t say ‘oh that’s annoying’ to an employee who has just told you that they’re expecting another baby! You might not be overjoyed at the news, but how small-minded, inconsiderate and tone deaf must you be to actually say that out loud to the pregnant employee? Not surprising that no-one liked her and that she didn’t last long. Quite surprising that she hasn’t been hauled before an employment tribunal before now.
