An influencer from LA who went on the Lisa PR train uploaded a 30 minute vlog on YouTube.
There was ONE minute of the train footage and a further 1-2 minutes after of her talking about the new lipsticks but no swatches, photos, etc. So she was worth inviting then! 🙄

I like “Ione“ but I’m not purchasing just yet - I’ll most likely wait and use my Liberty credit.
I hope Lisa does a video like she usually does.
I caved and got Ione and Thalia - and while I was at it, I repurchased the cleanser. No more shopping for me this month (and it's only the 4th!) 😬

Review on the face brush:

I was skeptical when it arrived as it has a short handle; it almost looks like a travel brush. I prefer a longer handle as I feel I gave more control over how I apply make up.

It works well with ensuring an even blend and when used with both the Lisa tint and foundation, creates a light layer to enable you to build up accordingly. When blended, the finish is smooth and as I'd expect.

I don't think it would be a good product to use with thicker bases - looking at you, Double Wear - and I'll likely only use with thinner formulas as a result. I also apply foundation to the back of my hand and dab the brush in rather than putting the product on my face and spreading from there.

Do I think it's worth the money? No. It's a nice brush for her products and used in the way Lisa applies make up, however there are other brushes that would do the same with a lower price point.

I'm making notes with her lipsticks as my husband is taking me to London a week on Tuesday and I can't wait to try lots in person 💜
My most used LE lipstick is Kitten Mischief followed by Rose Official.
Kitten Mischief is a much more flattering nude on me than Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk.
I bought it for my friend’s birthday last year. She loved it so much she bought another so she has one in her handbag and one at home. That was high praise indeed because she is usually a Rimmel girl and would never spend much on make up.

How can she say it’s an ‘item to pass onto the next generation’, unless she guarantees than production of the refills will continue after the passing of the original purchaser, and by extension herself?

I would def buy a concealer and a blush or two or five. I love the skin tint and regular foundation so much. I wore the regular foundation out to our anniversary dinner, with some Natasha Denona blush+highlight, and the lip color in Rose Official. It didn't budge and I didn't even bother with primer or anything. Our server told me she loved my makeup! Mr Bee really likes it too. I may end up wearing the tint more often just because since it wears so beautifully as I tend to just do mascara + tinted balm most of the time since I am lazy. I paired it with my Bare Minerals liquid concealer for my undereyes and it looked super nice together.
Lol, I second this… I wore recently a combination of LE tint T3, foundation (7) and Natasha Denona travel bronzer/highlight (ok, and Atomic Kitten) and my mother!!! complimented me on my makeup 😀 For summer I have ready T4 and 11, will see how it works.

Anyway, the only product that I bought and am a bit disappointed is Liquid Lurex - her package says it’s Best Before 6 months after opening, and was not able to use it in 1.5 years now, it’s very very sparkly 🤷‍♀️

p.s. for balms, I have Epanui and Red Curve. It’s better than expected (I might repurchase when finished), but I fear how/if it melts with higher temperatures (seems to have this tendency at these temperatures now)

I've had the email and it is a lip balm product available in four colours. I'll keep waiting for the concealer or blush. This one doesn't excite me
Unfortunately, it’s right up my street 🙈. I’ve ordered one in Épanoui and if I like it, I’ll probably order sweet fig and meet cute.

I love Kitten Mischeif it's my fave. So easy to wear and I love the name as I love cats and my cat can be a bit naughty.

I just had an ad pop up for Dior Rouge velvet lipstick. Looks quite similar texture to Lisa’s I must say
Chanel have also just released their own copycats, with all this spiel about "technical innovation" and HOLY FUCK they're charging £140 for one!!! As if that isn't bad enough they've released three reds which are exactly like the shades of Lisa's first three Velvets -- Ribbon, Morning and Jazz.

To be fair Charlotte, who uploaded those swatches, is a Lisa fan.
In fact she bought ALL shades herself with her own money and then was surprised to receive 4 shades as PR from Lisa.
For that reason she is giving away the 4 free PR shades.
I’m not saying that the majority of influencers aren’t disingenuous but, imho, Charlotte Holdcroft is not one of them - she’s one of the decent ones.
I have more time for charlotte than so many other infleuncers. The fact she spent her money (tax deductible though) on the full set and is giving away the gifted one has shown her to be better than the others who are grabby and would keep the lot. Charlotte does buy loads and doesn't rely on freebies for content. I love her 'you don't need that' deinfluencing videos. I have often found myself answering her sheepishly as she stares sternly into the camera saying "you don't need it. You have loads of neutral palettes. I know you do. Can you honestly say you don't have those colours?"
---
That makes sense and I understand her thinking. I just wish she didn’t have the tell tale indents in her wrist from wearing a hair tie, shoddy manicure and (in my opinion) tacky bracelets. I mean this is her job right, unless it’s a side gig?
I presume those brackets are fashionable. Dr Idriss has them too. Not my style but I suppose if they are linked to your kids they mean more to you.

I suppose there's a rush to get videos and posts out when there's a big launch. I did read somewhere about the difference in income between posting a review on launch day and a week after. And I know Charlotte missed out on the ND golden palette as it never arrived on time. I couldn't believe I was using the palette before she'd even got hers.

Thanks for the review.
I use a BK Beauty brush 106 for my foundation or Skin Tint and I’m happy with it.
I also recently bought a cheap, tiny acrylic “pallet” and I squirt the foundation on that now rather than get the back of my hand messy. I find I’m using less this way too.

love her makeup and hat for the garden party at Buckingham palace.

I had it and sold it. It was god awful. The texture was so bad the lines in my lips were really visible and the colour was so white based that it looked like clown makeup. It was super patchy too.
She looks stunning - a very classy lady.

I think Go Lightly lipstick has been discontinued anyway.

Lisa said she was going to replace the lipsticks she was discontinuing so I image this is what she meant.
I wonder if this is the way all new lip releases will go - they will fit her refillable case only and not be a stand alone lipstick?

Fine, as you all insisted I too have bought the palette.

I WFH now and don’t wear makeup for most of the week 😆

I do like a brown mascara but I recently re-purchased in the black and as much as I think it is a nice formula it doesn’t seem to last as long in the tube as I’d like. I may go back to Clinique’s lash power when this tub

I love the forensic level sleuthing on this thread! I’ve been thinking that a compact would be lovely but a compact is not a brand new innovation is it? I’m very intrigued…
Same. The clues about vintage collection and inspiration points towards a compact, but that doesn't seem to be amazing enough to need such levels of intrigue when all her other launches have been without this kind of fanfare.

Could it be matching cases for products and a pressed powder? Like a compact, lipstick cases etc? Lisa loves a lipstick case.
