See when I tested it in store I found the case quite light haha. Yes I’ve heard that unfortunately the lipsticks aren’t the best which is a shame because I love the idea. Similarly with the Carolina Herarra lipsticks where you can customise the case, add charms etc which is cute and everything but the lipstick itself just doesn’t stack up.
Did you test the old Guerlain case or the new ones? I was referring to the old ones, they were so heavy!

I do think refillable lipsticks are largely a waste of money, they inevitably eventually get discontinued and then you’re left with useless cases you spent money on.

I have been using the VB foundation drops. In all honesty they are lovely but no more lovely than Lisa’s and also I have been using a Trish McEvoy product which gives a tint coverage as well that I forgot I had and that is good too. For the price point I don’t think VB would win me over as others compare just as well

THREE new RED lipsticks? Sorry, ignore me or whatever makes you happy if you can't bear to read nothing but worship for Lisa, but I think the brand has been in a deep creative slump for more than a year now and has lost its way.

Those highlighter pots also bring nothing new to the beauty market.
I think one of the lipsticks looked more fuchsia than red, but i get your point. The orange one looks very similar to Lili and Dragon so definitely not needed for me. I did buy the velveteen one as I love a red liquid lipstick and it seems a different formula to the others.

My main criticism is things get teased and then never make it to market. How long have we been waiting for the brow pencil that was pulled a couple of days before release? And the blushes were supposed to be rereleased months ago.

I want a new eyeshadow palette, more wearable colours in the eye pencil - navy, burgundy, violet, forest green (night forest is basically black) and the blushes we were promised pleaseandthankyou

You're forgiven. Hope you're settling into family life!
Thank you! He has the most perfect dewy skin and definitely doesn’t need any illuminating products, even if they are made by Lisa. On the other hand, my skin could definitely use some Lisa magic 🤣

I love the Victoria Beckham eyeliners in those colours, you might like them too. Yeah doing lilac before a taupe or a navy… questionable commercial decision? (I’d also love kitten flick in a navy)

Not sure if people have seen the email. The new launch is a cheek and lip tint stick
Looks so gorgeous on the model! I just logged in and I’ve been relegated back to amythyst hence why I didn’t get the email. I still have 2000+ points to bank on a discount so may treat myself to a stick. Depending on colour. I stocked up on my Lisa regulars when space NK had a 20% off deal a few months back.

I've ordered Paige and Silvia ... my Phoebe and Irene were almost done and I was debating which one to replace, so the timing of this drop was perfect. Trying really hard not to just go for the other two, I'm sure Maude will sell out! (I really love that she's shown all the new shades on an older model.)

I mix the highlighter into the foundation for a lighter look. I really like how it looks. I put a blob of highligher on the back of my hand with one or two pumps of foundation and mix.

I like the look of the pinky highlighter.

Dammit - you were all supposed to tell me that the sticks break and the colours are garish!

Blush is so hard to get right. I'm sure all skin tones have their blush issues, but I have pale skin and find it impossible to get a blush colour that isn't greyish or ultrabright. I don't like glittery sparkles as they just highlight my wrinkles, and cream blushes are often too opaque or too slippery and transparent. I had a horrible feeling Lisa would find the sweet spot of all these issues.

You've all convinced me, but I shall be strong and wait until I'm next near a counter to try the colours, as I also want to properly look at the Betty palette (again, after all the raves here).

I have the liquid highlighter and the new balm
They are very similar. If you have one you probably don't need the other.

Crystal nebula top, butterfly light bottom. You have no idea how many takes it took to try to get these to show up correctly (or at all) in my current lighting!
Thank you so so much! It looks lovely but I have crystal nebula and your swatches absolutely confirm that I do not need the balm as well.

Oh yes! I posted that in bright sunlight so couldn’t really see the photo properly.

I hope Lisa is working on a refillable compact that is as gorgeous as her rouge experience tube.

I’m really surprised that’s the packaging she’s gone for. Usually Lisa’s products are more elevated in design than this. To me it feels a bit like a cheap cash grab but I get this will be an unpopular view haha
I'm underwhelmed and won't be buying anything, but then again I don't wear highlighter or glow products (my skin is on the oily side) or bright lipsticks, and I'm indifferent to Marilyn.

Yeah looks like it's being applied with a lip brush.... 🤔

This has me stumped. I'm stupidly proud of my guess for rouge experience "Lisa loves a lipstick case" but no idea now!

And when we guessed the lip and cheek tint being like the merit domes I did say i wouldn't be in a hurry to buy them as I have 5 of the merit ones, and I now have four of Lisa's as well so I'm perhaps not the person to comment 😂
Oh I'm a magpie, I'll buy whatever Lisa releases regardless. LisaMagpiesUnite!

Used the Velatura yesterday for the first time and I love it - this might be my favourite product so far. It's subtle, but somehow with just a few swipes on lips and cheeks it made me look fresh and healthy. Have to resist more colours now!

I hope she is working on the most beautiful refillable compact. She nailed it with the lipstick case, it’s beautiful, weighty and so elegant

I have lots of hospital appointments coming up and I think I might get something from Miss Eldridge. Does the Velatura balm dry down or does it leave a sticky residue? Will my hair stick to it?
It doesn't stick. I wouldn't say it drives down either, it's more of a thing cream blush.

Hope the appointments go well.

Has anyone been using the new blush sticks? What's the verdict?
Gorgeous. I've used it every day on my cheeks since I got it, and I've just ordered one for my daughter while I decide what other shade(s) to buy! It's so easy to use and although I don't usually suit a shiny, 'glowy' look this is just the perfect amount of sheen.
