Lisa Eldridge 💄 #2

[Missmopps]

Just watching Lisa's new video with Alexa Chung. They are clearly friends, she is so animated with her. She used an under eye concealer and when Alexa asked what colour she was in that, Lisa said it wasn't released yet so can't talk about it.

Ooh what was the format? Texture?

[Duee]

I hope we get the video along with the link today.
Previously we’ve not had a video with the Emerald release and it’s not until I’ve seen the video the next day with the general release that I decide to order.
Imho it negates the early access if we don’t have all the details.

This, I did this mistake twice - regretting that as early access I didn’t see all the tutorials and videos - it’s not that the products are out of stock in 24hours.

Zao are good with sustainable packaging.

[Missmopps]

Oh yes! I posted that in bright sunlight so couldn’t really see the photo properly.

I hope Lisa is working on a refillable compact that is as gorgeous as her rouge experience tube.

Quoting myself like a dick but this was just on Lisa’s stories, no context or explanation. Is she hinting at a perfume..?

[50sGirl]

I’m waiting patiently to order!
I assume the £90 spend for the free bag is after any discount codes?
I want to order a brush, concealer and corrector which comes to £93 so if I use any of my rewards, it’ll take me under the free gift threshold.

I saw this posted on Vinted a few weeks ago!

The box looks fake to me.

[Bread]

I'm tempted but I want to get the berry coloured balm first I think - good for autumn/winter.

[zcfthc5]

How does one get your details to send it to you?

I don’t know tbh! Is there a dm function?

[Sideeye70]

Argh please let it be liquid concealer! (Or the kitten flick in burnt umber ... was that a thing we were promised or did I just fantasise it ... )

[zcfthc5]

I hope she is working on the most beautiful refillable compact. She nailed it with the lipstick case, it’s beautiful, weighty and so elegant

I dislike the obsession with ‘weighty’ packaging. I don’t live a taxi lifestyle, I don’t want to carry unnecessary weight in my makeup bag. “High end” products literally have heavy metals stuck in them so that the packaging signifies premium status. I want refillable that don’t weigh down a pocket like that lipstick.

The Rare Beauty brow gel is my HG. Not sure yet another brow gel is needed on the market, and the big "Cara" brow trend is done so the "fluffy" USP here is odd. I've been demoted to Amethyst anyway & unless something else comes out next month, my 3000 LE points will soon expire.

How do I find out when my points expire please?

[Also_smoke_and_mirrors]

Yes all kinds of primers too! Just a bouncy squelchy moisturiser , a sticky primer, a pore smoothing primer etc., I set it with pixi makeup fixing mist which has form filming ingredients and normally makes my makeup completely immovable but so far nothing has seemed to help!

I'd contact her customer service for ideas. I've not tried the foundation other than samples as the skin tint is everything I need. But I’ve not heard anyone else say it doesn't last or changes. Her team will know some pointers

[ButterTart]

I got the concealer in shades 5 and 8 and it’s just meh. I‘m using it very sparingly and don’t find my under eye area looks any better (and some days worse) than with my other concealers (Natasha Denona, Lancome, By Terry). It cost the bomb with shipping so I’m actually quite disappointed.

[Missmopps]

The selling out bit was a big driver for me buying it yesterday.

They have sold out already or just the rose madder? It’s all hypothetical to me because as much as Lisa is the best saleswoman for her products I’ve vowed not to buy any more makeup in similar shades until I’ve finished my current stash. The exception is a VB eyeliner in navy which I love, and Lisa just won’t bring out a navy pencil which I find baffling

[Ponponpon]

Wow 32 shades!
I’ve been demoted. I’m no longer an emerald.

Bad times! At least you get some previews, and the videos for the proper launch which as Emeralds we miss out on.

[Clarity456]

I’ve only tried samples of her foundation but I thought it was a bit cakey on my skin so I never purchased a full size.
Her Skintint however is perfection.
It’s much lighter coverage though.

Thank you, I love her entire range and the shade selection so I have the skin tint too in 5&9 but sorry about me im a millennial so I do enjoy coverage sometimes hence why I wish the foundation would wear better

[Missmopps]

I’m watching her very old video on MM’s makeup style. Lisa sounds different, slightly lighter voiced and posher

[zcfthc5]

Kiera Knightly, I wasn’t getting drunk vibes, but i think she’s at the cross roads or getting her face overdone or deciding to relax a little bit and allow a little aging (she still looks as beaut as the people whose makeup she does)

[katz2022]

I hope she brings back the pink soap colour. It’s the perfect shade for me. She went to so much effort to create beautiful shades for the original blush and I loved the texture, I hope it’s the same formula just in a different packaging

I must have missed that she’s done blush before! I wonder why they didn’t stay?

I can’t wait for these.

[Bread]

Amanghasett was too dark for me but I really love Strawberry Blonde. It's very easy to apply and you can just shove it on whereas I spend a lot more time with liner and concealer when I put on the Velvets.
