I think it is just someone with a bleeding heart wanting to do the right thing for someone from Palestine. I’m sure they mean well but if we had a GFM for everyone who had to relocate due to being put out of their home then there would be thousands! How does someone in Ballykelly manage to live and work and need healthcare? You just have to suck it up and unfortunately you have to put yourself out for living costs. I know the baby is only one month old but was the wife not working before? Does she have maternity pay? Other benefits. Many would love a HE free house so would take one anywhere in this country. There are issues where public transport isn’t ideal but if you are getting a free house then suck it up.

As you can see the walls are littered with female mayors.
None of them highlighted though. She could have made an amazing video showing the previous female mayors and then posted herself at the end and it would have looked really good but that would have involved being a bit less self absorbed. It could have been a genuinely inspiring vid but as usual it is all about her.
The captions explain who she has in mind.I’d hope they’d set their sights higher than the paltry job of Mayor of a dissipated city.

Don’t believe in ghosts but if I did I hope John Hume haunts her. He never made it about himself, it’s a shame what the party has become, both this and the alliance party have forgotten their roots.

I’ve never seen anything about her wardrobe or looks?? The reason the other mayors haven’t received the same vitriol is because they haven’t forced themselves or their beliefs on people even Unionist mayors have been nothing but welcomed she’s got her own ingrained perception of people that she likes to fire up.

Who were the two previous female mayors? I would be interested to see why that faced no scrutiny. Were they ling standing councillors?
Btw though I do think she looks fantastic in that white dress. She may not be the best politician but she knows how to put together an outfit! I wish I had the money and/or style to do it!

For me it has to be about fairness. She was a junior councillor from my understanding and the sdlp aren’t known for being racist so it seems like for two longstanding party members to resign there has to be something to it. Everything is all about her in every event she does. If Michelle or ELP carried on the way she does they would get butchered. They actually seem to be working well together and seem to be trying to build bridges. Lilian just called people terrorists recently, I’m not a fan of SF or DUP but actually have a sliver of hope that MICH/ELP seem to be trying to make a bleeping difference.
