I know what she means about getting River used to being with his grandparents cos he'll need to be happy being cared for while she's in hospital so I'm glad she's being proactive early on for him but when I was pregnant with my second I wanted every second with my 1st cos I knew we would never get the chance for it just be 'us' again in the future - if having time with him I knew id be feeling pulled back to being with baby too etc. She's has no idea how hard it could be once babies here but I really hope she doesn't palm him off to grandparents too much once babies here, he'll need to bond with it too. Is she able to do this cos her mums not working?
She is due in June is she not? If so, I don't see that as her being proactive early on. She's left it too late - she ought to have been working on that from the very moment she found out, but alas, no. Classic Jade, wallowing in the misery of her supposed HG, whilst still being able to
tank off her lumispa (brave soul!), & trying to play games with people on Insta - "is she/isn't she pregnant?". Having the idiocy & arrogance to worry about & organise a gender reveal. She does everything bar what she needs to be doing. What a shitshow. My heart actually breaks for that wee lad.

& at the end of the day, SHE is the parent. Her child has additional needs, she's totally clueless & thick as champ. His needs have to come before anything & right now, they aren't remotely close to being met on an emotional & developmental level. Sure, they do the basics for him & he's not neglected in that respect, but he absolutely IS neglected in many others.
