It's actually sad that his fans can't be happy for him and always have to find something wrong with his life.I think he’s better (fingers crossed) idk what he’s posting lately he seems to be back to his cringey self (which is a good thing) and he seems in a lot better place than he was. I've got a bad feeling about him, like morbid feeling. He seems unstable. First the behaviour in that interview, then the rampant self image probs.

I agree, he seems to be on a very worrying trajectory. I pity Bear.
I don’t think the 1D fans particular harries have helped. It seems to be a lot of things Liam says get taken the completely wrong way and then people start hating on him. It does seem to be the “in thing” to hate him. Even when he brings 1D up they make out it’s for his own benefit but then there’s Harry the other day thanking 1D and wearing a shirt, that seems ok.

I don't think he's necessarily helped himself though. They might take it too far, but some of the things he's said are so egotistical and he made that creepy song fetishising bisexuality. He comes across as a sleazy Alan Partridge to me.
I think it’s obvious Liam is desperate to be famous and successful again like back in the one direction days. He brings up one direction a lot and he knows exactly what he’s doing when he talks about one direction cause all the fans start begging for a reunion which would be Liams dream for that to happen cause it would mean a chance of a career again making money being popular etc.
It’s unlikely a reunion would happen cause the other boys are doing their own thing , Harry in particular is obviously very famous and has a lot going on so I doubt he would want to stop what he’s focused on to go back to one direction and same with Niall he seems happy doing things solo. Zayn left the band before the rest of them split up so I’d be shocked if he’d ever reunite with them cause he seems to like living a low-key life as much possible now and when he does release music he doesn’t seem to like to be on stage performing it he just likes to release it on music platforms. I know like a year ago zayn posted a clip of him singing a one direction song but I don’t think that means he would go back to being in a band ever again. As for Louis maybe he’s the one most likely to be for one direction to be back again like Liam but he’s nowhere near as desperate as Liam is. I think Liam makes them all out to be closer than they actually were.
I think Liam needs to accept the one direction is unlikely to happen again. Yeah there’s always a possibility even 4 of them could reunite for something in the future when they’re older but there’s also a big chance that’ll never happen so sooner Liam accepts that the better. They were five guys complete strangers thrown together into a band , yeah it worked they had success , some of the songs they made are good and of course spending all that time together you’re going to be close but I think Liam just has his hopes up so much for them to reunite so he can have a career again that he’s trying to encourage the one direction fans at times to help make it happen by talking about it.
Liam obviously has had issues with alcohol which is sad wouldn’t wish for anyone to have that struggle and maybe he even had a bit of depression mixed with jealousy at the fact his career didn’t go the way he hoped. There was a rumour that 1D were due to reunite for a few concerts before the pandemic. I think people also spotted that certain stadiums had been 'greyed out' on certain dates but it didn't happen.

I hope he can sort the alcohol issues, but otherwise I think he’s in this situation mostly because he’s not a good person. He can’t even hide his jealousy of Harry’s success in public interviews, and that’s not to mention how he brags about being able to leave Bear with Cheryl for her to bring him up while he gallivants all over the world. His career is over and he still can barely find time for his own son.
Yeah I agree. I was trying to word what I said carefully cause I understand he has issues with alcohol so I didn’t want to sound like I was hating on him for those issues but I honestly don’t think he’s as nice a person as he tries make himself out to be and that could be cause maybe naturally he’s just not nice as he always was egotistical and full of himself or it could be that he’s filled with so much jealousy, bitterness and an ego too that it’s made him not a good person.
Anytime he posts something to do with one of the boys and writes a paragraph on social media about them or does an interview talking about them it always comes across so forced like he’s just doing that to remind people of the fact he was in one direction with these boys and get the fans talking about one direction again to try get himself in the spotlight again. He’s definitely jealous of Harry cause I think Liam honestly thought he would have the same success as a solo artist with the same fame Harry has now. Harry in a speech not too long ago he acknowledged one direction as how his career started and he was grateful so when he brings up one direction it didn’t come across as attention seeking it seemed like either he or his pr team advised him it would be good to acknowledge where you came from whereas when Liam talks about one direction he does it to the point he’s desperate to have something to talk about and clearly he hopes to have a career like that again as he desperately wants the band back together so he can have that fame and money again.
I know he was dealing with alcohol issues even during the interview he did with Logan Paul but even in that interview you could see liams jealousy and insecurities cause he kept hyping himself up and it’s obvious he isn’t happy with where he is now as he’s always thinking about how famous one direction was and not having that career now he’s struggled without the fame and attention he once had. I think he needs to accept his career is over , one direction had their time and it’s very unlikely they’ll get together again. Yeah there’s always a possibility but him always trying to make it happen and using it to keep his name out there is boring now especially as the other boys are doing their own things and even in interviews none of the other boys come across jealous or desperate like how Liam does.
I don’t think he’s as close to his son Bear as he makes out cause from what I’ve heard he’s not around much and Bear is with Cheryl majority of the time while like you said Liam goes wherever he wants whenever he wants without the responsibility Cheryl has. I really hope behind closed doors he has a better relationship with his son but it doesn’t seem that way. I think Liam is so caught up in wanting to chase fame and fortune that he craves but he isn’t getting what he wants. If he focused on himself ,stopped comparing himself,stopped being jealous and put his time and energy into something worthwhile he might realise there’s more to life than fame.
This is a perfect description. And yeah, he's definitely a deadbeat dad but lies to the media about how involved a parent he is. I'm pretty sure he missed all of Bear's birthdays until his 4th or 5th one. Cheryl seems to be quite close with Liam's sisters so I'd imagine Bear gets to spend quite a lot of time with his paternal grandparents. I actually wonder what Liam's parents think of how he's behaving and the complete disregard he has for that little boy. Cheryl meanwhile seems pretty content having Bear all to herself so I guess it works for her though.
Since when has a world tour with venues upgraded been classed as small. The venues he did were the same ones Harry did when touring his first solo album.
Niall's tour was small, and his last was one was outright cancelled.
But with Liam I just don't think he's found something career wise yet that works for him. Be that musically or doing influencer-type stuff.

I don't doubt he doesn't have much to do with his son, but I can't help but feel a bit sorry for him too. Cheryl completely used him as a sperm donar, even possibly knowing she'd have control of the baby as he is too young to want to be a dad. Theres a nasty grooming aspect of their relationship.
That combined with the end of 1D (which happened not long before bears birth) must have really messes with his head.
