I know friends who knew Liam before he went on X factor and a few years after .Liam became locally famous after his first stint on X factor doing the odd local gig. The second time in 2010 no one thought anything would come from 1D and they would split up like bands on X factor normally do. He dumped a local girl he was with for about a year (fame got to his head0 then shacked up with Danielle dumped her then shacked up with Sophia (who wanted nothing to do with him in school despite how much this is contested ) She has now become an influencer off the back for the fame. He always fancied Cheryl so to have a baby with her must of been a dream. I am not entirely sure Liam has had the right people around him for a long time and a downward spiral was always on the cards . A lot of people have profited from being around him.

the reality is that he's bland. he can hold a note sure but nothing about him is eye catching (personality, talent, music, style)
But then if Harry or Niall done it people would repost it and praise them for it
I just never understood how it’s bad when Liam does it but if others did it’s ok. Like people went crazy over Harry wearing the 1D top in the gym and that’s fine but if Liam did it then it’s attention seekingExactly! he feels like all his fans hate him nowDoes anyone know if he got dropped by his record label ? I know he had a few singles that did relatively well and I presume an album would have sold a decent amount ? Just seems odd that he seems to have stopped it all together
Either that or the label are keeping him on their books but not approving a budget for any releases for the foreseeable future. The only thing that could save his music career right now would be a 1D reunion, which we all know isn't going to happen until the other members find themselves as washed up as Liam is.

He looks a lot better here than he has in other recent photos for some reason. Agree that he seems really lost; I don’t think any of them seem that happy, even ones with more success now. Niall seems OK, Harry looks drained a lot of the time and for me has lost his spark somewhat, Zayn has lost the plot and is clearly an addict, Louis seems so different to his former self and like he’s trying to be something he’s not (eg laddy lad / Liam Gallagher lite and Liam seems so D list now and handing onto fame by the edges …
Or it's we are actually seeing who they are to an extent away from the huge marketing strategy that was 1D. What needs to be considered is 1D was marketed within in an inch of it's life to sell to fans. The lads have also grown up and lets face who is exactly the same as they were in late teen,s they have all grown up and are in their late 20/30's. Just like any of us in that age bracket we are NOT the same as who were 10/15 years ago....
Why do some people infantilse him? He's pushing 30 and he's still a tit father. He's been a legal adult for 12 years. I became a parent when I was 20 and I just get on with it. There's no excuses for being a tit father when he's 30 years old.
I genuinely reckon somethings up with Louis, I know he’s been through a lot losing his mum, sister etc but I’m not on about that. I do think the portrayal of him isn’t his true self. I think he is trying too hard to be like the Gallagher brothers and a lads lad. To me it’s more to do with the larries why he’s pushing too hard on it, I think a percentage of it is the real Louis but I think he’s going ott to prove the larries wrong. A lot of them point out about him being sensitive and the way he was in 1D so he’s trying to be as far away from that as possible.
I think Niall is still just the same as he was in 1D but the others overshadowed him so now people can see more of him and actually a knowledge him. As he was just known as the Irish blonde one and to be fair I think his singer/songwriter thing for him is the best out of all the 1D solo stuff. He seems to have a good balance of fame/personal life which I think a lot of celebrities struggle with.
Harry, may sound a bit controversial but I’ve never got the big thing with Harry even in the 1D days. I’ve never been a die hard 1D fan just more there for the music but I have caught stuff from Twitter growing up. To me Harry just isn’t really as good as what people are making out, people make out like he’s the next Freddie mercury , mick jagger or some other big massive musical icon who’s name will go down in history but I just can’t see it or why people. To me it’s just Harry is the flavour of the month, like they said the same about Justin bieber and then that eventually died down and the same will go for Harry. I’m not bothered over his sexuality but if he is straight then my heart goes out to the LGBTQ+ community as he is really exploiting them and using them thinking he’s part of the community to his advantage.
Liam I just think this weird war with fans and fans thinking the in thing to hate on him has really took its toll. I liked a good chunk of liams album and I do think it had the potential to do really really well but this thing hating fans had to cancel him has really effected him and his career. I do thing fans twist a lot of stuff he’s said and/or taken it the wrong way. I always see it as if it was Harry no one would bat an eye lid or say anything. People keep saying when he mentions or uses 1D he shouldn’t but seems to be fine when others do it. It’s just sad when you can see the potential there but seems to be no matter what he does there’s always gonna be a big majority doing anything they can to hate or stop it for no reason.
Zayn, is just zayn like I think this bad boy persona was him all along. Like I think he seen the potential of going in 1D for the live shows but didn’t expect them to go as big as they did or how quick and I think a lot of what he said was true about lads calling him for being in a boy band, not being the music he wants to make etc he just seemed more of an R&B artist to me and not this scrubbed up lad they tried to portray.
Straight from the horse's mouth. He thinks his relationship with Cheryl is great because he can do whatever he wants while she raises his child. Plus the fact he missed Bear's first three birthdays, and was only there for the fourth because of the pandemic.
I’m seeing different clips of Liam from recent Instagram or TikTok lives he’s done and I find it cringe and weird how much he still is clinging onto one direction. I personally don’t think mentally he’s doing ok because I think he is unsatisfied with where he is in life and wants the same level of fame and money he was getting when in one direction. He’s only relevant when he brings up one direction and it keeps the one direction super fans interested when he talks about one direction and says things like “wouldn’t it be great if we got back together?” and he goes on on and on about it saying he wants to make it happen it’s kind of embarrassing to watch.
I understand he was in a famous boyband for years and for that to come to an end and now he’s nowhere near as famous and not that interesting to people anymore I’m sure that mentally that would affect anyone especially if you still crave that old lifestyle and career cause some people in bands are happy to split up and give up music and other people to go solo and they succeed but in Liams case his career definitely didn’t turn out like he expected and it clearly bothers him a lot.
It’s a shame nobody in his life is there to tell him maybe he should focus on something else and try build a career that doesn’t involve him clinging onto one direction cause he’s clearly desperate for the band to get back together and sounding desperate like that isn’t a good look for anyone. The other boys at times have each mentioned one direction cause it would be hard to avoid questions about it but they don’t mention one direction anywhere near the amount that Liam does. I would be very shocked if one direction ever got back together maybe a one time thing for an event is a possibility but to actually get back together as a full time job I can’t imagine it and I think Liam is holding on desperately for that to help his career and relevance.

See I think if he did the live today and just made it about the tour he’s doing I think it would have been better, answering questions abt reunions etc is just stupid I’m sorry, he said he was trying to find “himself out of the band” but then proceeds to talk about the band at least 4/5 times, I think he’s struggling to let go of the band but he also wants to move on but I think he can’t move on cause he Can’t accept the level of success he’ll get if he truly moves on, but really he should just try and be at peace with where he is and what he can do with his career. I think he’s doing better mentally but I do still think he is lost creatively.

Liam is a man-child with no filter. He doesn’t understand why he isn’t the one with Harry’s success, he has little self awareness. I don’t think he’s a bad person, I just think he’s not particularly bright and is easily led. It’s quite sad to watch. He needs to find his own niche or step away from the public eye and find happiness in other things.

Sounds like he did a ninety day rehab. He really has been a deadbeat dad. Taking on some parental responsibility would be good for him. Nothing like your kid bringing you back down to earth.
Someone has been smart to take advantage of the hype in Latin America. He’ll get a high from that but I don’t think it will help him in the long run. It’s like he’s looking for highs anywhere he can. A few months in therapy and away from the public eye isn’t enough. He needs to go away until he has new music (if that’s where his passion lies) that he loves and understand that the success will not be on the level it was with 1D.

He doesn’t have the best singing voice ever but he can sing so if he actually had took time away from social media and figured out what he would like to do with his life then he could of found the right path to go down with music but of course his career will never be anywhere near the same level of fame one direction had but I don’t think he is able to accept that cause he seems to constantly be chasing the fame he had by being in the band. Instead of working on his own career and life he seems caught up in the one direction past and that isn’t good for him mentally if he can’t move past that and accept that’s the past.
I think the problem is that probably 99% of his fans are former 1D fans, like he’s not built a fan base of his own unlike Harry and also Niall. Which is why both the fanbase and Liam are stuck in the 1D limbo.
