I meant speculation overall, I know we've carried on speculating about the speculation so are potentially adding to it, but a lot of the article is hearsay.

The Cheryl thing for example, there could be one confused Geordie in Buckinghamshire tonight that her ex partner of what nearly seven years ago was still in love with her? As that quotes not from her, and the only other person who'd know is Liam who's no longer around to confirm or deny.

TBF, I think a lot of people have thought that too. He always spoke about Cheryl in a different way to his other partners, past or present.

Yes this is what I think, it’s common knowledge that people do interviews with The Sun because they either have something on them, or are going to publish something unsavoury.

I wonder if they were going to run a story about how she was supposedly ‘one of Liams carers and abandoned him’ and in exchange for not doing that, she did this interview about the details of their relationship.

I know some people will probably think she sold out for money, but I can’t imagine they’d have paid her that much for it. Certainly not enough to keep up the lifestyle she’d have had with Liam, anyway.

Would they have let her paint their relationship in such a loving manner if they had some dirt on her though? Surely if they had stuff that bad about her they could have got her to have really spoken badly about Liam, his addictions and past abusive events with his ex.

Some of the delusions of fans are very very scary. I just saw Kate’s happy birthday post to Liam and there’s a ‘fan’ on there in loads of comments arguing with people that Liam bought Nala the dog for her, and that Bear is her child and that she is a Payne

Yeah the phone thing is weird. I could believe if ge had been under some kind of guardianship (can't remember the correct name) that he was only allowed limited time or access with a phone and that Geoffs statement had been kind of lost in translation but then he wasn't under anything and there's been other stories coming out like him messaging people on social media for drugs.

Not at all. The sources of most of the messages and emails were stated within the leaks. They came from a combination of Liam's phone, Roger's defence document and the hotel.

Catching up on this thread but it is honestly just so shocking and awful the way things panned out after Liam’s death.

A man is dead - a father, a son, a brother, a friend. Yet there’s images of his dead body, his penis, his texts between prostitutes, his receipts of alcohol and drug addiction, his hotel room in a vulnerable state, printed all over the media and all easily accessible via the internet. And not just small sites, big international sites such as TMZ and Daily Mail (not that I hold them in high regard, mind.) I just can’t believe that it’s almost just shrugged off, there’s no big scale uproar about how *wrong* all of this is. Let the man rest in peace!

If you mean the sexuality stuff, that's been a topic of speculation for years for all of 1D. Not that that makes it ok. But if anyone chooses to focus on that tiny part, which of course some will, they've spectacularly missed the point of the article.

I'm surprised Roger didn't frog march him to lawyers office to write a will, giving him some favourable money or power over his possessions, but maybe he didn't get down to it yet and was building up to that. I do wonder if Liam didn't get round to it earlier in his career and in the last 6months to year of his life wasn't able to write one due to his mental health issues, alleged ods in past and rehab stints - was he deemed of sound mind to make decisions at that point? I think he's secured his families life with houses, cars, possessions and possible money given to them in large sums already and he had no need to write a will knowing they were ok and bear would get what's left in Liam's accounts/estates. He retired his parents early & bought them a house & paid off debts, I remember him saying in interviews years ago, so I'm sure rather than given them small amounts on a monthly basis he might have gave them a lump sum every year or just 1 big lump sum say a million then gave them money or gifts here & there over the years. He came across sassy and savvy at times prior to his addictions in last few years, so if roger was trying to persuade him to write a will I imagine he might do opposite and not write one.

I do think she has subtly tried to address a few rumours too, like there was one flying about back last year that 1D were planning to reunite before Liam's death.

From what she's said there that doesn't sound like there was active talks (that she knew about anyway)or she wouldn't have been talking about a 20 year anniversary which is still 5 years away....

they actually do….. it’s a conflict so they will consult the biggest artist for sure. It’s how Ryan Reynolds got WME to drop Justin Baldoni. The agencies are as corrupt as the rest of the industry.

Ok. Fair enough. If that's standard practice, I stand corrected on consulting Harry. But still, why name drop? It adds nothing to the story.
