Maybe friends and family call him and he answers to this, but the name on his birth certificate is something like Stewart Bear Payne, so when he’s older he has the option of anonymity. Like Duncan Jones, formerly Zowie Bowie. Rolan Bolan has embraced his name though.

I’d be surprised if the more crazed Directioners hadn’t sought out a copy of the boy’s birth certificate though. Remember the furore when Louis’s son Freddie was born?!

Surprised at the choice of him having named administrators of his estate in court documents but not having a will. But I guess that's just a hindsight thing unfortunately, noone expects it to happen to them.

I was advised to get one buying a house, I can’t believe X Factor or Modest didn’t tell the boys to do one.

I do think there being no will, will cause family rifts as he was finding his family a lot too and that will stop because it’s Bears money.

Absolutely. Kate probably isn't in the will. I meant he would have made one at the point he started to become wealthy, and probably updated it when B was born.
I'd imagine he'd probably left a small amount to his parents and sisters to keep them comfortable but B is the main beneficiary. That's after the inheritance tax of course...

Yeah, I re-read it a few times and it still didn't make much sense. I went back to look at his original claims and he said he and Liam met a few times during the time he was in Argentina then he says he actually only met him twice...firstly when Liam went to the restaurant he was working at then again when he definitely wasn't delivering stuff to Liam at the hotel. So either he is lying about everything or he is downplaying how many times he actually met him and he was at one of the other hotels she was supposed to be at and wasn't. I know what one I believe.

It was also side eye implying Liam was gay and Kate was a paid beard.

Not saying it was true as I have no idea but it was implied for years and when the waiter made his 'claim', it just proved it to many who believed it. Rolling Stone also did a feature on him a while back and a few 'friends' said he had issues with his sexuality which is why he started drinking and taking drugs.

I guess the media were definitely trying to get a copy of the birth certificate at one point, as there's a load of articles from back then about how they'd gone over the allowed 42 days since his birth and not registered him yet so were facing a fine

Some of the delusions of fans are very very scary. I just saw Kate’s happy birthday post to Liam and there’s a ‘fan’ on there in loads of comments arguing with people that Liam bought Nala the dog for her, and that Bear is her child and that she is a Payne

It is but everyone picks apart everything she says or does so she probably just wanted to put a "nope" on it all. If she mentioned certain times he was drinking or let on she knew he was drinking then it opens cans of worms about the drug use too. Also as said above if she's gave a statement to the police in Argentina she probably doesn't want to rock the boat.
I'd imagine regardless of her relationship with Bear too, out of love for Liam and the respect of Bear being his son, she probably doesn't want the nitty gritty out there from her about Liams addictions.
She doesn't owe the public anything, far less Liams secrets.
People will hate on her for selling her story but from what I can see of it it's been done in a respectful enough way. I don't image she'd have gotten anything from Liams estate and she seems to have been staying with her parents so I guess she has to make money some way. I know that sounds cold but I think so long as she keeps it respectful (I know it was to the sun) there's no real harm in it.

It's all already out there though. She can't "nope" something that's there's physical evidence of.
If she's had any role in the Argentina investigation, however small, she should stay quiet until that's over. Ditto if she had any respect for Bear.

And you're quite right, she doesn't owe the public anything, so why bother with the interview in the first place? I've been quite defensive of Kate so far but this screams "money grab". There's plenty of ways to earn money other than selling your story, regardless of whether she painted him in a good light.

She's also posted an IG story trying to justify the interview. She's proving all the stans right, she's doing it to cash in. She doesn't need to "share her experience". Just say you love and and miss him, noone needs to know anything more.

I used to work for a will writing company which offered storage of your will so that everyone knew where it was, it couldn’t be tampered with etc.

I could be completely off the bat here but I half wonder if a will did exist that maybe had a small fortune going to Kate/Roger or whoever, but perhaps was located by the Paynes/Cheryl who decided to “lose it” or get rid of it so that those wishes wouldn’t be carried out. Not because of greed but just because of the circumstances after his death. It to me just seems extremely unlikely for a man of his fortune to not have anything in place should something happen, especially with a child.

Just a quick Google of "liam payne sexuality" brings up a list of major publications from around the world like Rolling Stone Magazine, Hollywood Reporter and New York Times writing about him sexting fellas.

Not sure where you're getting that info from. 1D Media Ltd was registered in December 2010. Each of the lads were directors (in layman's terms, the managers) and owned 20% of the business each. In 2016, all five resigned as directors and new directors were brought in. Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall then became solely persons with significant control (i.e. the owners) of 1D Media Ltd. and now own 25% of the business each. Liam's involvement ceased on the date of his death. From what I can see, this is the only 1D-owned business where Zayn's shares were bought/given back; all the others he still has, or had if they've since shut down, a 20% share in.

To answer @MammaTubbs related question: Liam's shares in the 1D-owned businesses, copyrights and trademarks now go to Bear. Anything related to these that would have required Liam's consent would now require Bear's.

According to the records on Companies House, Liam signed the majority of the accounting paperwork for a lot of the 1D-owned businesses, which makes it even weirder that he didn't have a will. I guess they all could have been given the info and Liam was volunteered by the others to sign it, in his role as "Daddy" of the group, and he didn't really know what he was signing; but I find that hard to believe. Especially considering he signed some of them after 1D had split. It's very strange.

I looked too. I don't know how it works but it's t's down on there that Liam was cessated in February 2025, look in the filing history bit
