Damn Rolling Stone, I did think there was more but they had to be annoying and litter it throughout with 'sources'. 🙄

I'd be peeved if I was Maya putting speculation amongst my statement, especially including stuff she's never disclosed herself but now they've made it seem like she has, when it gets quoted across other media.
They do it deliberately. I'd be pissed too. The way the DM are saying she talked about him doing heroin when she said nothing of the sort. 😒

If she was approaching people early December, maybe it was a bit of pushback from her after the comments around her appearance at the funeral, which she did address in her interview as well.

There was plenty of it about at that point, as well as speculation because she didn't arrive/leave with the family, and I know she was basically the nations sweetheart and the mother of his son, but if it was my partners funeral and his ex partner was everywhere all over the papers the next day for how strong she is, how she'd arranged everything so well etc I'd rightly or wrongly probably feel a bit put out too.

Of course the above isn't Cheryl's fault either, the press are pants and I think we all well knew she alongside the 1D boys would be the focus as they're most likely to generate the interest and clicks.

Either that or something to do with the upcoming court cases, like wanting to get her side across first as she'll obviously be brought up to some extent, and already has been in the lawsuit.

I think if she was solely in it for money, she would have probably been better paid if she'd spilled more tea and not done such a fluff piece, so I'll carry on giving her the benefit of the doubt on this one.
I do wonder what Liam's family think of her though. I can sympathise with what she's been through and I can respect that the interview wasn't her dishing their dirty secrets etc but there is still a little niggle with her. I 1000% believe that she was with Liam for love and had no idea that this would happen but her relationship with his family seemed pretty non existent which is a bit weird. Not that it's anything to do with me though 😂

It doesn't have to be one or the other, I for instance feel every sympathy for both Liam and Maya for very different reasons, just as I feel every sympathy for Kate, Cheryl and their son, his family, his 1D band mates, all for vastly different reasons.

Just taking Liam and Maya into account for example, I feel an immense amount of sympathy for them both, whatever happened between them.

They clearly loved each other at one point, and if reporting is true, they remained in some sort of contact during what would end up being his final months, on whatever basis that was is up for debate.

Neither of them expected him to die, at least not in the way he did.

Whether it was one or the other, or both of them, it's possible to feel very sorry for both of them, let alone everyone else involved in what's turned out to be a very sad story to a young boys life who once had so much promise.

As if there needed to be more proof that most associated with the BBC are knobs:

He's someone's father, son, brother, and it's disgusting to refer to him as he has in that article.

Maybe question yourself about how he ended up where he did Michael Buerk, whilst giving your head a wobble, I'm sure your association suitably profited anytime he appeared on anything BBC related.
A "BBC Anchor" having the nerve to comment on a successful singer. Does Michael know how stupid he looks doing this?

So it looks like the appeals against the appeals have been dismissed. Let's hope that's the end of it now.

But there were a lot of people saying that we should believe Maya and that she can't possibly be wrong or flawed in any way because she is a woman and we "should always believe women" which I will say, as a woman, that is not the right way to think in any situation. What they possibly dealt with in their relationship should have been kept private and dealt with privately. Liam has said in the past that he isn't perfect and that certain things he struggled with effected his personal relationships with others. Yet these "I will always believe women " people were dragging him down, trying to silence him and not wanting to hear a single word he said about his personal experiences
See, my experience outside of Tattle has been the opposite. It's all Maya's fault and Liam's the victim. Some of the stuff I've read about Maya over the past week or so has been horrendous. Death threats and everything. Absolutely ridiculous when there's no evidence [in the public domain] of anything Liam or Maya are alleged to have done.

TMZ video on YouTube titled 'Shocking Details Behind Liam Payne's Death Revealed'
Interviews with a holiday maker who witnessed, 'Brian' the suspected dealer and a timeline of events including hiring 2 escorts.
not sure the validity, it is TMZ after all but a curious watch.
Thanks for the recommendation! It was interesting to hear the American guy who’s wedding it was, speak about what he witnessed in the hotel; you could see he was very affected by it. I’ve seen some say his story didn’t add up etc etc .. but if he’s lying in that talking head, he’s a better actor than an Oscar winner!

If you mean the sexuality stuff, that's been a topic of speculation for years for all of 1D. Not that that makes it ok. But if anyone chooses to focus on that tiny part, which of course some will, they've spectacularly missed the point of the article.
I meant speculation overall, I know we've carried on speculating about the speculation so are potentially adding to it, but a lot of the article is hearsay.

The Cheryl thing for example, there could be one confused Geordie in Buckinghamshire tonight that her ex partner of what nearly seven years ago was still in love with her? As that quotes not from her, and the only other person who'd know is Liam who's no longer around to confirm or deny.

For the sake of his family (particularly his son), I wish they'd never seen the light of day.

It just makes me very angry that his partner is being held to some weird standard of supposed appropriate grief, when she was with a man who sent that text a few hours after she left. She's been much kinder than I would have been.
Didn’t Maya say that Liam allegedly said that it wouldn’t matter what actually happened as the 1D fans would always take his side over hers, or something?!

I feel so, so sorry for his family.

If you don't have a Will as in this case the estate passes under the intestate rules to his son Bear.

As Bear is not 18 he cannot apply for Letters of Administrstion. Cheryl is allowed as Bears legal guardian/person with parental responsibility to obtain the Letters of Administration to Liam's estate. The funds will be held on trust for Bear and he will inheritance absolutely on his 18th Birthday.

Liam appointed no-one to administer his estate, Cheryl had the legal right to apply.
I was just quoting from DM, I’ve got no idea about the realities of it tbh. Maybe it’s just written poorly. I did see the name of a lawyer too.

We most likely will never know for sure what went down but the sad thing is she'll still have 1d fans blaming her for the rest of her life regardless. She already has people going viral with comments like "Liam died thinking people hated him because of her". Any milestone events in her life, like marriage or kids, will most likely be met with similar comments about Liam's death and how she gets to live her life

I wish people would stop with the murder conspiracies as well because it's so disrespectful to his family. One theory is that he didn't fall, but was murdered by the hotel workers, his lifeless body was carried through the lobby (despite there being guests who were pictured speaking to him) and then pushed off the balcony. It's all so far fetched and it's worrying how many older fans are trying to push this narrative. I would understand if a young, naive fan was saying it, but cmon. This isn't 2012 anymore. Grow up
She went about it the wrong way. She also filmed herself laughing at hate comments and death threats that Liam got but she still wanted the whole world to sympathise. Also, If I wanted to be believed I wouldn't write a book that contains any fiction but there you go 🤷‍♀️

For an exclusive interview? Yeah they would. They can’t force her to speak badly about Liam, that would be doing a 180 on everything she’s said and done so far and can you IMAGINE the backlash she’d get from Liams fans, I can’t imagine she’d do that to herself. They could just publish all that without interviewing her, that doesn’t make any sense.
Depending on what they apparently had on her, she could have recieved backlash from Liams fans either way.
It seems a bit of a reach that they would have anything on her serious enough to get her to give them an exclusive interview tbh.

I'day it's likely he intended it all for Bear anyway, from what he said himself, and he regularly sang her praises as a mother, I'd be surprised if there is an afterlife if Liam would feel aggrieved by Cheryl effectively caretaking the money for him until he is of age. No matter what the press are trying to imply it's essentially a responsibility for Cheryl and not a privilege to her personally.

From what they've shown so far, the Paynes seem very genuine, have made no attempt to cash in on Liam's success, and have actively maintained a relationship with both Cheryl and Bear throughout, even in Liam's own absence, and if Geoff's statement is correct eventually supported Liam's own contact with him.

Even if Cheryl could offer them a portion, I reckon the most likely outcome would have been a polite refusal.

Not that we couldn't before, but I think that officially proves that passing out, fainting or otherwise losing consciousness wasn't the cause of the fall. He just lost his grip as he was trying to drop down.

I still maintain that at some point he bought some drugs thinking it was standard coke, and it wasn't. I still believe the original tox screen.
BIB: If you're referring to the hand- and finger-prints, I don't think it does. It's perfectly plausible that he was briefly slipping in and out of consciousness whilst he was climbing but he came to fast enough to regain his grip/footing (hence the smeared handprints), before experiencing a longer period of unconsciousness that led him to fall. The number and type of injuries, and lack of injuries associated with engagement of protective reflexes, were very much consistent with someone falling in an unconscious/semi-conscious state. They could be stretching the truth about those details too, but I don't see a reason for doing so. His reputation wouldn't be harmed by saying he was conscious and slipped in the same way that releasing the full tox report or suggesting he wasn't sober could; in fact, by saying he was unconscious implies he was more inebriated than they were trying to suggest.
I also don't think the released tox report told the whole story either, especially when you consider how often cocaine is cut with other substances to make it cheaper/more addictive.

Maybe the person who's reached out to Maya with the 'non consensual shared images' was trying to get them out there?

And Maya's done a deal to stop the images getting out?

Obviously no one would want their own pictures out there, and for her saying she still cared for him etc I guess she wouldn't want Liam's out there either?

I don't think it's a coincidence we've heard from them both pretty close together after a period of quiet, it's bound to be something messy behind the scenes like a deal to keep something else quiet, or they know they're named in some of these lawsuit or court docs?

The source bit saying Roger was reaching out to Maya in May 2024 was it?
That's bound to be in either his or Geoff's evidence somewhere for example, either Roger using it as he was a 'concerned friend' or Geoff using it to prove he had some 'responsibility' for Liam?

Christ what a mess.

Jesus wept, these people really need to find a better hobby! I didn't realise that Larries were still going, I thought they'd all grown up and were looking back on their ridiculous theories with incredible embarrassment.

Plus, trying to shoehorn Liam's tragic death into their conspiracies is disrespectful and amoral. Let Liam rest in peace, poor man.
