I think the right thing to do would be for Cheryl to give the family some of the money intended for bear. Liam would've wanted them to have money to support them and their kids, not just bear. He was close to his family and it's clear they never exploited him like some of the other boys siblings. Even if she can't access the money until bears 18, she could easily do it herself from her own money. Maybe I'm being too naive but she will most likely have more money than the Paynes combined and it won't hurt her to help them. It's not like she or bear will be struggling when he's 18

The media's response to it is ridiculous, if he even was, there's no shame in question in your sexuality, there's no shame in keeping in private as you do so, there's no shame in never commenting on it etc (I know he denied being in a relationship with Roger), only one person knows how Liam felt about his sexuality and that was Liam, and he's not around to confirm or deny any longer so it's cruel.

There's plenty more to focus on in how he sadly ended up where he did.

I do wonder what Liam's family think of her though. I can sympathise with what she's been through and I can respect that the interview wasn't her dishing their dirty secrets etc but there is still a little niggle with her. I 1000% believe that she was with Liam for love and had no idea that this would happen but her relationship with his family seemed pretty non existent which is a bit weird. Not that it's anything to do with me though

Oh I agree the niggle is still there, but I think Garcia The Great hit the nail on the head a few pages back, with the old cliché that as an American she's more comfortable expressing herself, whether that was on TikToks, or now speaking so publicly about emotional subjects of love, loss and grief.
We can relate far more to the almost awkward Liam in their previous social media together, as we're not so good at the self expression

The family thing I guess we'll never know, but maybe they did spend more time together that we weren't aware of, and I know it's been leaked and translated but Geoff himself has said she loved and cared for him.

If there was any awkward distance, it probably did come from Liam rather than Kate, he would have known the trouble and upset caused to his family with his struggle for sobriety over the last few years, and especially as they seemed to be deviating on what would help, ie Geoff wanting him to carry on focusing on music, Roger and Liam with the investments etc, I can see him maybe taking a step back, less contact etc if he thought they didn't approve of what he was doing, most of us don't like disappointing our parents, especially to the scale it looks like they were the ones who ended up facilitating his contact with his own son

Not that we couldn't before, but I think that officially proves that passing out, fainting or otherwise losing consciousness wasn't the cause of the fall. He just lost his grip as he was trying to drop down.

There are certain circumstances where a text is appropriate (we lost a family member last year, and I was sent a text to let me know what was happening, because the person who sent it had his two very young, very distressed children with her - making calls while they were there would have been cruel). However...if ever there was a situation that required a phonecall, this was it. It wasn't just that he'd passed, it was that it was sudden, brutal and very public. I would be too terrified to send a text in these circumstances, because I'd be worried they wouldn't pick it up straight away for a start.

The author talked to the waiter Braian Paiz who claimed he and Liam had a thing. The 'troubling questions' is basically Braian (who is in prison) saying when he was in the room, nothing of Kate's was in there and it looked like she wasn't staying in the room with Liam like she claimed. It also digs into her insta posts where one minute she claims to miss him and makes such a big deal, even posting AI pics which has his friends and others side eyeing her, basically saying she is using him because she knows it will get her attention.

It also talks about the other stuff she posts and that she hired someone who was done for exploiting young models and done for revenge porn to help her.

It was also side eye implying Liam was gay and Kate was a paid beard.

I don't think it's that surprising he didn't have a will as his life was out of control. 14 million is enough for bear and it will be invested so grow 10% a year. I'm not going to feel bad at 10million going to HMRC.

Its saying in some articles wills are public, is that true? If so, I don't want to see it as I think it's very invasive and people should have their privacy but in this case I'm surprised none had found the actual "public" document and printed it, makes me wonder if the news is really true or if that's just what they - Liam's family, Cheryl & PR are putting out there for people to think. Good on them if they have, to keep all details private.

He did seem a generous person with his family. It doesn't come across they used him. He seemed very close with them all and watching videos etc he had them around a lot particularly in between his relationships, almost like he needed to have someone around 24/7. In recent interviews - the CEO podcast & then Logan Paul podcast he does seem to harbour a bit of resentment towards his dad re: his dad's dream of him being a solo singer but I can't see him not gifting some money to his mum & sisters to ensure they are alright for rest of their life's just because he might resent the dad a bit? I also wonder if his lack of closeness to his dad in his final months was partly due to Rogers influence over him and the hangers on he seemed to have got himself attached to. Maybe they said negative things about the dad & family using him? Still, I really can't fathom someone like him NOT having a will written up at some point even if it's from years back when he did have a very serious, sensible, old soul, Ross friends personality.

Wills are only published if they go through probate so after someone has died not whilst someone is alive.

I think Liam was probably advised to write a will, but thought I’m only 31, I’ll do it later. I don’t think anyone of his age, regardless of income and regardless of chaotic lifestyle, expects to die.

Did Amy Winehouse leave a will, I wonder? Or did her grasping daddy get it all?

Oh its not how she expressed herself and her love for Liam in the interview. It's the niggle with the family that I have ie the funeral and just other bits with them they just don't seem to really have anything to do with each other which is sad considering she spent the last 2 years of Liams life with him
