@tagliatelle I think it's a bit of both. I'm very outside the 1D demographic, so I've only been really exposed to them since Liam died. I've noticed that if you only watch short 'Larry' videos for example, you'd be forgiven for thinking there might well have been something going on - it's not until you watch the full length interviews those shorts have been clipped from that you realise there's been a fair bit of creative editing to make it look a certain way.

So yeah, on the surface there seems to be a lot of nutters, but in actual fact they're just people who aren't that media savvy, being whipped up to a frenzy by people who are probably dining out on all those views and clicks.

I've used Larry as an example, but I think the general point is true of almost any internet "thing" you can think of, including all the JfL people.

I completely agree. I just think there’s a double-standard when fans say: “the media says this and it’s fake!!! Liam says this so it’s real!!!” I guess the parasocial relationship parasocials. I agree, though, that it preys on the vulnerable and there’s “big accounts” that drive the narrative to an extent. The whole thing honestly feels so gross.

Dusting my crystal ball off here, but potentially due to the extenuating factors we now know of, Liam maybe let contact go through third parties like Kate and Roger as come on who likes being reprimanded by their parents in their 30s?
No shame to his family either from their side, as they'd understandably be worried.

Overall an incredibly tragic situation, no one is inherently at fault, just a combination of unprecedented factors at the same time, but the main tragedy remains the same, that it's cost a man who was unwell his life, and a young boy his father.

She doesn’t have to give them a penny. If he did want that, he would have written a will. He even stated himself that everything would go to Bear. Cheryl is well off enough to provide for Bear without Liam’s money anyway. I’m sure his family have already been looked after financially.

I'm not saying she HAS to give them money. I'm just saying it would be sad if they were left with nothing considering the legal costs of everything that happened after he died, and how their lives will have been changed from this. As someone else pointed out, if Liam was still here I'm sure at some point he would've loved to help his sisters by covering private education costs, and ensuring they're financially secure. I'm pretty sure Cheryl came from a similar background so she will know what it's like

I don't think you can order a child's birthday certificate due to data protection, surely only if your their birth parent can you order one. Yeah, it's too much hassle to keep a fake baby storyline going for rest of your life, people would slip up esp the kids when older and media can no longer be manipulated as much as it once was - the papers can but tik tok & the likes can post what they want and if there was hard evidence of these children not being there's it would've been found & posted by now. I think given the hectic life of touring, boredom, drugs/alcohol on tour, lack of family & friends around, no real time to date or see partners coupled with teen hormones and a longing for intimacy then perhaps some lines & friendships are blurred in the bands and they experiment and perhaps sleep with each other. If anything was going on with anyone once before ie Larry or Ziam then I think it was just playing around and it's long been finished. They can be bi or just straight but experimented when in the band, and have obviously gone on to have babies with Cheryl, Gigi & I forget Louis ex name. Blue star Duncan had come out as bi after their band initially split up years ago and has since said he's had relations with Lee from blue in past, isn't there something in Mel b scary spices autobiography of something happening between her & Geri in past? It's not unthinkable that these things would happen while on the road doing long gruelling tours with only each other for company but I don't think it's some big Romeo & Juliet forbidden true love hidden away as many fans seem to think.

If I am wrong though, what a shame and sad existence having to pretend all this time. Must be exhausting to hide your true self and having to do it in 2025 when we are suppose to be more open in society is sad.

Not at all. The sources of most of the messages and emails were stated within the leaks. They came from a combination of Liam's phone, Roger's defence document and the hotel.

Ex-PR here, she would have known Q's beforehand. That's standard anyway for interviews like this.

Obv she wants to maintain her life of luxury (she has like 20k of Cartier jewellery on in this interview lmao) and her team were probably pitching this interview to the highest bidder. We will probably see her return to social media, she won't do this then fade away, that's for sure..

Even the comments on TM about her being nervous seem like a PR push, tbh. Her team will have been all over the internet reading comments.

Even though Kate's mum is English, she herself obviously is American as she grew up there. I think it's more typical of Americans to come out with that clichéd sort of stuff, no? Liam's lifestyle and subsequent death will be a salutary lesson to anyone seeking fame and fortune in the music industry, particularly a relative of his, who will have been affected because he knew and loved him in real life. Apparently this man has a fabulous voice, so hopefully his work will raise money for the chosen charities, and if he does become well known off the back of it, he will remain grounded and surround himself with genuine friends.

I mean, makes total sense for Cheryl to be in charge and wouldn’t surprise me. The executor of my will is a close friend because we all know after death family become a bit grabby for items and money unfortunately so it make sense to have someone else you trust esp as the money was always for Bear. But also her claims that Roger is actually suing Cheryl by suing Geoff is odd, he’s not suing the estate he’s just suing Geoff for his “false” statements. What’s that got to do with chezzzza?
