And the actual audacity of mentioning the “thousands of messages from Liam’s fans seeking clarity”: whether the stans are right or not — and I would not DM a dead celebrity’s girlfriend — this is not the clarity the majority of them would have been asking for. It gives such “I received so many messages about my dress — here’s the link!!! [referral code / ad]” vibes.
She's going to get a lot more hate for this than she realises. She's either really calculating and cashing in while she can, or she's incredibly naive. Last week I'd have said the latter, but it's starting to look like the former.

I suppose other people who aren't famous adjacent do well enough for themselves on TikTok, so she might not be doing too bad for money.

As said above, if Liam was giving her the allowance reported, potentially she could have saved some, invested some etc or equally have sold on some of her higher end pieces of clothing and jewellery she bought from the reported 'clothing allowance'.

Speaking of that RS article, I know they had their "sources" implying his struggle with sexuality but does anyone else think it could more his identiity struggle that Maya was talking about rahter than sexuality? As in, maybe he was autistic spectrum - many youtube vidoes of their really early days he doesnt seem to get the innuendos being said from both interviewers and his band mates and the sexual innuendos and he seems to takes everything at literal value? so could he have been neurodivergent. He came across very adorable and nerdy, serioud and old soul but more recent interviews in his solo career he seemed to want to be seen more as sexy and a sex symbol which didn't help with his image as he was slated for some of his songs - Strip that dowm and both ways, neither of which he really wrote, they were given to him. In some interviews hes playing up to the sex songs but on other interviews he says he wanted to have more meaningful songs on his next album as he isnt a "horn dog" as he put it and there are more meaningful things to write about its not always about sex - his own words in a podcast I saw. Or could just be his mental health struggle with him knowing who he is ie does he want to be a solo star, is he struggling on stage without his bandmates and would prefer a band or maybe he wanted a simple normal life - old interviews he talks fondly of his dads factory job and also wanting to be a fireman. Maybe that was his struggle???

Its sad if it was his sexuality he struggled with, in this day and age youd think people can live how they want to rahter than have to hide themselves. Can't help but wonder if lines were blurred within the band due to their affectionate nature and boredome and being stuck together 24/7 while on tour, did they become confused with feelings for same sex/each other and not knowing what or who they really want. I know there has always been a "Larry" thing but only recently came across the "Ziam" conspiracy but really, out of 5 members 4 of them being in love with each other? What really are the chances of that actually happened? Im wondering oif RS article is just sensationalising theories that are widely out there. Its a shame they did so as really they should just let him rest in peace now.

Its smells of something. A music lawyer is the other administrator. Why wouldnt he have a will...maybe the lawyer knew he was going to execute an intestate estate....of a drug fuelled pop star..
Yeah I find it so strange, like surely they would have been advised to have a will, and Liam (aside from his addiction issues over the years) seemed to be very sensible esp about money. Even a simple will stated he leaves X amount to mum, dad, sisters & their family and the rest to his son, wouldnt have taken him much time to do. I know he probaly didn't think he was gonna die so didn't think he would need a will yet but being that they are heavily advised and given that he has said on multiple podcasts 1D almost killed him, he had thought of suicide before, the online bullying got to him so much etc I would have thought he would have been more prepared for his possible death and had a will done. I dunno, something fishy about the whole thing. Was that lawyer who is an administrator chosen by him or appointed by someone else? Surely there would be more than 2 - him & Cheryl to oversee the trust fund? I just think leaving bear that much that he will get at 18 not to mention his mums wealth is a recipe for disaster in the long run.

The thing I don't understand is the way some of these "fans" are making out like they're trying to protect B. I've seen lots of comments about how they're going to try and get all the negative stuff and "lies" about Liam removed from the internet so that B won't have to see it in the future. But what they fail to understand is: B is 7, he's not a baby. I think it's safe to assume he knows how to read and probably knows how to use Google and YouTube. And whilst I don't doubt that Cheryl and his Grandparents, aunts and uncles don't let him have free reign over the internet, all it takes is an unsupervised search at school or a friend's house. Or for another child at school to do a search and relay the information back to him. Even an innocent search on YouTube to watch Liam/1D performances is likely to bring up the conspiracies. The internet is so intertwined with every day life that's it's hard to shield kids from this kind of stuff, especially if they're curious about something. The fact that the statement specifically mentions the effect speculation has had on B suggests he's probably already seen some of this stuff, which is heartbreaking.

I appreciate this may seem hypocritical since I, along with others on this thread, have discussed Liam's behaviour and death in-depth. But I think a child is much more likely to click on a YouTube video or social media post than they are to read a stream of text on Tattle (or know what Tattle is to specifically seek out these threads).

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't want it to come out and I hope it never does, but the GOSH appeal, I think it's pretty much a cert which 4 names are at the top of the donor list.
Roger, Maya, Diddy and Beyonce? 😉

Articles say he put it up for sale but there's no record of this on rightmove, it says it was last bought in November of 2021 which lines up with Liam having rented somewhere else in Chalfont St Giles for a year starting in October/November 2020. Maybe it was for sale briefly and then he realised it was better to keep the homebase and thus took it off the market? Liam was wildly rich and obviously could maintain multiple properties in different countries. I also wonder why he chose to rent in Florida rather than buy, could it be because subconsciously he didn't think it would be that long term? Again, someone of his wealth wouldn't need to wait in a chain to sell their house before buying their next one. Also, didn't his wake happen in Foxwood? Which means it must still be owned by his estate and I imagine it's paid off and been left to Bear or the Paynes in his will. Maybe Cheryl could move in if she gets murderous stalkers at Chalfont St Peter again. The Foxwood mansion really is beautiful on the inside imo

I also enjoy viewing celeb properties when they're on sale. I watched and greatly enjoyed all the weekly round up videos Liam made in 2020 in his penthouse in Pearson Square, so we saw a lot of the inside. And it's quite surreal seeing that property now listed and the professional shots of the interior. It's a guilty pleasure nosying around how the wealthy 1% live and wondering what kind of properties I could buy with all that money.
Foxwood was taken off the market the day or so after he died, on the rightmove records it was listed in September 2024 for sale but it was still up there for a few days (as I saw it on Rightmove for sale). They probably can’t sell it until everything with the probate is settled and that can take months and months.

Maybe I'd expect less if it'd been a journalist from The Scum or The Fail, but a retired BBC news anchor? Obviously he's not responsible for the articles off the back of it, but he's definitely responsible for what he said in the first place.

Even the notoriously horrid Dan Wooton managed to show a glimmer of humanity:

"What an appalling tragedy and waste of life. Liam Payne was always the most mature member of One Direction in those heady early days. He was a joy to be around. The music industry is truly evil. My thoughts to his poor family, band mates and fans who will be devastated."
But he wasn't giving a statement about Liam or his character. I doubt he even knew who Liam was until after his death. He was talking about how reporting has changed over the decades and used Liam's death coverage as an example because it happened days prior. He probably would have said the same thing after Michael Jackson died, or Whitney Houston, or Amy Winehouse. I don't like the guy (some of the stuff he's said previously is absolutely disgusting) but I think you're blowing this comment way out of proportion.

Also, you might want to change your expectations about BBC employees. The victims of Huw Edwards, Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris et al. would probably trust a journalist from The Sun/DM anyday.

Pretty harmless fluff piece isn't it.

Most horrifying thing so far is that she wanted one of those creepy 1D dolls 🤣
I'm sure plenty of people liked them, but for me dolls=creepy 🤣

I think we've had a balanced discussion around her so far, which has of course changed and evolved as she's been spotted, released posts and now the interview.

If anyone is looking for a bit more positivity around her,I'd say it's commendable she's kept Nala, especially as she was a rescue dog originally.

She's also chosen some fab outfits when out and about with Liam, especially some of her boots 😍 (I do love a good pair of boots!)

I think there might be other people who get a cut but from what I've just looked up, they set up 1D Media when Zayne left the band so he would still get his cut from the music they'd already made.

Liam was removed as a Director of the company in February. 😢
Not sure where you're getting that info from. 1D Media Ltd was registered in December 2010. Each of the lads were directors (in layman's terms, the managers) and owned 20% of the business each. In 2016, all five resigned as directors and new directors were brought in. Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall then became solely persons with significant control (i.e. the owners) of 1D Media Ltd. and now own 25% of the business each. Liam's involvement ceased on the date of his death. From what I can see, this is the only 1D-owned business where Zayn's shares were bought/given back; all the others he still has, or had if they've since shut down, a 20% share in.

To answer @MammaTubbs related question: Liam's shares in the 1D-owned businesses, copyrights and trademarks now go to Bear. Anything related to these that would have required Liam's consent would now require Bear's.

According to the records on Companies House, Liam signed the majority of the accounting paperwork for a lot of the 1D-owned businesses, which makes it even weirder that he didn't have a will. I guess they all could have been given the info and Liam was volunteered by the others to sign it, in his role as "Daddy" of the group, and he didn't really know what he was signing; but I find that hard to believe. Especially considering he signed some of them after 1D had split. It's very strange.

The author talked to the waiter Braian Paiz who claimed he and Liam had a thing. The 'troubling questions' is basically Braian (who is in prison) saying when he was in the room, nothing of Kate's was in there and it looked like she wasn't staying in the room with Liam like she claimed. It also digs into her insta posts where one minute she claims to miss him and makes such a big deal, even posting AI pics which has his friends and others side eyeing her, basically saying she is using him because she knows it will get her attention.

It also talks about the other stuff she posts and that she hired someone who was done for exploiting young models and done for revenge porn to help her.
I didn’t realise she ever claimed to have been there? I thought she left before he moved to that hotel?

I’ve heard that 🐻 isn’t the child’s real name, too. But it’s for protection, nothing else. Children of wealthy parents are kidnapping targets. If Liam’s boy is really called Matthew or Daniel then no one will bat an eyelid when he’s at school or playing with friends.

There was clearly some relationship there, more than enough for him to identify and grieve over his absence.

If he never saw him, they barely spoke etc, I'm sure Cheryl wouldn't have put her 7 year old through the ordeal of a funeral, and a pretty public one at that, especially considering she had to twice leave him with other family to walk in and out without him, which was probably some behind the scenes press agreement that her, the 1 boys etc agreed to, to ensure no rat bag paps tried to get his picture at least.

Was it the relationship that they should have had? It seems not, but father and son clearly loved each other regardless.

Best song ever video? No control w James cordon? That’s what I took from it
naaaaah that wasn’t dancing at all. It’s all bullshit. The whole interview was BS. She’s painting this picture perfect life which was not the case at all. Guess so got a nice pay day?! She’s wiping her face but there’s no tears….. mess. Lost a lot of respect for her.

Of the money…?

I also think she’s running the risk of alienating people. It’s totally natural to want to tell her side of the story - I just don’t think it will have the desired effect. Could just be a puff piece, though, like García says.
I meant more because of her selling it to the Sun tbh. I still don’t think she should have done one so soon, his family probably aren’t on board with it but to the Sun of all places.

TMZ video on YouTube titled 'Shocking Details Behind Liam Payne's Death Revealed'
Interviews with a holiday maker who witnessed, 'Brian' the suspected dealer and a timeline of events including hiring 2 escorts.
not sure the validity, it is TMZ after all but a curious watch.
That's an edited version of the documentary they put out at the end of last year/beginning of this year. Pretty sure most (all?) of the info was used in the court/appeals hearings. Obviously people could be lying, but the majority of stories have remained the same (the witness allegedly originally stated he and his wedding planner had their backs to the window/balcony so didn't see him fall).

I can definitely see a book in the near future. My Life with Liam - a fairytale that ended in tragedy.
