How old are the diehard Larries now? They must be mid 20's, surely? Time for a reality check.
That being said, someone at work told me, with great authority, that Louis's son isn't real, he's a hired actor. When I asked why, she said to prove he's not gay. It's 2025 not 1975.

It's sad and disturbing that Liam's death is being investigated by conspiracy theorists. Do they think he's still alive and his death was faked? Or he was murdered and it's been covered up?
Both! 🤪

And even with the murder there's several people in their firing line, Roger, Maya, Simon Cowell, recording company etc 🙈

The top level of far fetched though is that Liam had basically been missing near enough after the Niall gig, and everything after that is a crisis actor 🙈

Really below the belt considering his family have to try move on from this knowing his photographed corpse is out there for the world to see 😔

Given the way the 1d fans have been since day 1, I think they were always going to turn band members dying into a conspiracy theory. Harry could die tomorrow and they would claim he's living a secret gay life in France because Louis went there 3 times while wearing a blue t shirt
This is one of the many reasons why Larries/Larry as a concept are problematic. It’s not just a case of fans having fun because the insistence on reading into behaviours from short clips, finding “hidden clues” and patterns, doubting family members and friends, distrusting social media posts, debating what ‘truth’ actually means, projecting onto these men, creating an us vs them mentality etc all primes these people for much, much darker patterns of thought related to conspiracy theories and right wing ideology. It may seem dramatic to say but there’s a proven link between obsessive fan behaviour and extreme views and with how intense these people are and have increased after Liam’s death, it’s something that worries me. Especially as a lot of the Larries who are still around are older, and influence younger people online.

This is all very true. It's very disturbing uts like they don't see them as people at all.

These people aren't fans, they have no respect for these guys.

It scary how this is older people and shows a darker side of the world.

The lack of respect of consideration for thdze people families., friends the people who actually know them is weird.

This is a large problem and why I can see how much staying off social media could have helped Liam .

I was thinking about the Brit Awards before and who they’ll get to do Liam’s tribute. Jack Whitehall’s presenting it so maybe he’ll do it, or maybe Rita Ora again because she did it at the EMA’s

Yeah, it's like this decision has sent them into overdrive. I saw a woman (not a teenager or tween) who has decided that this is part of a plot to kill off the whole of 1D, and Harry's next. She's deduced this from a series of "clues".

Every, single last bit of this BS is down to social media. Human beings are wired to fill gaps and find patterns - back in the day, you only saw stars off screen in magazines or recorded interviews. Now you see them in pap photos, fan videos, their own content, other people's content... People see just enough not to know the whole truth, and then they do what people do which is fill in the blanks. Sadly, those filled blanks are usually nonsense. I don't blame Harry for staying off social media. It's dangerous in so many ways.

Absolutely agree with both of these. Add to this the pack mentality that comes with 'finding your tribe' on social media and they all start egging each other on. For anyone doubting the pattern- and clue-hunting, take a look at the comments on the Pleasing IG account. They're not Liam-related but are full of people who dissect every minute detail and are convinced Harry is hiding Larry references in the ads. For some reason these people think they're on some sort of LGBTQ+ equality crusade when in reality it's just marketing for what is essentially overpriced merch hiding behind ethical lifestyle branding.

I'm actually shocked the OG 1D stans haven't ordered copies of Liam's death certificate or managed to get hold of the full post mortem and toxicology reports. Didn't one of them order Louis' mum's death certificate to try and prove Louis' son wasn't his or some such balls? Maybe they've mellowed to social media warriors in their old age.

I'm just going to leave this here

It disturbs me that I agree with Perez, but here we are. 🌵🍑

There are older ones than than that. I once had the misfortune of seeing someone say Freddie is actually Louis and Harry's kid that they had through a surrogate and his mother is actually just a hired nanny. According to them, whenever Harry and Louis aren't in the spotlight, they are at home with their son. The last post the woman did before this was saying happy birthday to one of her grandchildren turning into a teenager, so she had to at least be in her 50s, if not more.

If you ever want a laugh, go on Twitter and search under Larry. It will be funny as hell but sad at the same time to realise that people who claim to be adults can come up with some of the crap they do.

A lot of the above also applies to Liam too, the Cheryl thread has plenty of debate whether he's on the birth certificate, was he a beard along with Justin for her and Kimberly, was it a business deal, sperm donor etc.

Lord forbid that he was just a normal fella who couldn't believe his luck when one of the typical dream women of him and his friends growing up was actually interested in him....

I saw a video on Instagram of a man leaving Zayn's concert with Zayn and people were saying that the man looked like Liam so it's possible that Liam faked his own death to escape fame and the media and that Zayn is "protecting him" by taking him on tour with him. As a long time One Direction fan I actually think all these conspiracies are so wrong and I really hope Liam's family are not seeing all this. It's ok to be sad over Liam's death and wish things were different, as I do, but the conspiracies really need to stop as they don't help anyone and dragging Zayn, Harry, Louis and Niall into these conspiracies as well is going too far.

where is this woman getting this info from? I’ve seen her post stuff before that’s questionable about Liam.

I mean, makes total sense for Cheryl to be in charge and wouldn’t surprise me. The executor of my will is a close friend because we all know after death family become a bit grabby for items and money unfortunately so it make sense to have someone else you trust esp as the money was always for Bear. But also her claims that Roger is actually suing Cheryl by suing Geoff is odd, he’s not suing the estate he’s just suing Geoff for his “false” statements. What’s that got to do with chezzzza?

Omg she does aesthetics local to me! She knows duck all 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep, if he was going to fake his own death to escape fame and the media, the most practical thing to do would be to go on tour with his most controversial band mate. So under the radar, so discrete, so secretive. Also, how lovely of him to traumatise his child as he does it.

Honestly, some of these people are so far past giving their head a wobble it's not funny.

Why do people get so convinced celebrities fake their deaths? Lol its like people thinking celebrities just can't die or something 😂 absolutely deranged behaviour.

It makes me really uncomfortable, there's plenty of people out there who have a parasocial relationship with celebrities, and lots of other social media platforms do seem to have users who genuinely seem to be struggling that he's dead.

For then people to almost take advantage of that with conspiracy theories, really plays on those people with potential vulnerablities.

Really sad, as especially this is about someone who'd admittedly struggled with his own mental health for years, for then people to take advantage of others struggling, and not to mention the disrespect to his loved ones.

It's sad he died but these people are acting like they knew him or are more entitled to grieve him than his own family it's insanity

Pearl JR on Youtube has been claiming that Michael Jackson faked his own death - she's been obsessed for the last 16 years, convinced that he's sending her clues to his whereabouts etc

Do these nutters genuinely think Liam would put his family, his son, Cheryl, his band mates, his fans, through horrific grief by faking his death in such an awful way? The lookalike on the plane is simply that, a man with a vague resemblance to Liam, nothing more. They don’t want to believe he’s gone, do they? It’s very sad for them, but so terribly disrespectful to Liam himself and his loved ones.

Why is faking a death the go-to response when a celebrity dies? OK, they could potentially come back one day. But in the meantime, they're inflicting pain on their fans [and possibly family/friends]. Witness protection aside, that's not ok. If I had been a fan, I'd be furious and it would put me off that person forever. It makes no sense.

In terms of Liam, let's take a minute and go along with the delusion that he faked his own death. If he hadn't told his family he was going to do it, that's disgusting and everyone should condemn him for putting his family through that. If he did tell them and his funeral was fake, his mum deserves an Oscar for her portrayal of the grieving mother.
It's a lot of effort to go to to step out of the limelight when he could have just asked Zayn or Harry how they go off-grid.🧐

Genuine question here because I can't be bothered to Google 😂 but has there ever been any celebrity who has died and "came back to life" again? I'd imagine the percentage of this must be high because literally anytime a celebrity dies there's so many people not believing it like it's some kind of regular occurrence
