Yes! I was told 4 weeks before anything remotely associated with your mouth due to infection risk. Also, why does she deem it okay to be transparent about the lip tattoo but not the fillers? Like what’s the point, she tries to come like our bestie in the know, ready to give advice on all aspects of life etc. apologies of course if she has discussed the filler and I missed it!

I think she may have admitted it on a podcast - but it was obvious she’d just had it done. Having your inflated lips tattooed doesn’t seem like a good idea when they will go down, but I guess Leigh thinks she can always get more work done to compensate. I wonder what Rich thinks about being seen with her 🫢

Also whingeing about how much work she has to do but simultaneously drinking cocktails. Again I’m not sure Leigh understands what “work” is.

She really makes me sick. Free hotels, free clothes and pretending to be all humble by a token message claiming she knows how lucky she is. Followed by some fake messages of her followers (cough family) thanking her profusely for her hotel reviews.

It’s not that hard to look up hotels online?? I have never felt the need to turn to an influencer for a hotel review.

Then claims she is “working” so she can drink cocktails and take selfies of her disgusting lips while the husband looks after her son. Why don’t you put down the phone and actually enjoy your free holiday you grifter?!

New member but longtime lurker - like so many people on this thread I once enjoyed Leigh’s content but she’s really the dregs of Instagram now. The You Beauty podcast has also dropped off a cliff in terms of quality.

Wouldn’t trust a single recommendation she makes on beauty or anything else, and let’s not forget the racism that Mamamia seems to have just ignored. Baffles me that they’re constantly posting supercilious woke articles and even have an “Indigenous Stories” section on the website yet employ an executive editor who is comfortable using racist slurs about First Nations people. Mamamia is complicit in the very issue they are patting themselves on the back for speaking up about.

Also dodgy as hell the way she discloses her aff links. For the latest round she’s admitted that she gets a commission if you buy - but the way she’s written it implies that it’s if you buy that item, when we all know she gets a commission if you buy anything from those sites! She gets up to 10% for a whole month from The Iconic.

Exactly this!!!! I use to love listening to You Beauty, I learnt so much initially.
It really became apparent when they began recycling ideas and promoting products that originally they were against.
It’s all advertorial content disguised as attempts to be authentic.
