Absolute green washing. It will break down into micro particles at best. This isn't something that can go in the green bin. I'm unclear how they can make this claim??Also the claim that the plastic bottles are "biodegradable" is complete and utter greenwashing.
In order for the packages to breakdown, they have to be exposed to temperatures 50°C or higher, of which you usually only find in municipal composters. You know how many of those are in Aus mass composting at those temps? Pretty much nada. This is not packaging you can chuck in your home composting bin.
These bottles will not break down unless exposed to extreme temperatures.
And then to wrap it all up in an unnecessary clear plastic bag just shows you really don't give a tit about plastic. You want to use biodegradables as a marketing gimmick.

A super nourishing AND restorative body AND massage oil.My God, I wish someone would edit Leigh's writing. We KNOW you didn't finish school. It's obvious. And we all mistakes. But when you've been working on this for a year and a half, and it still reads terribly? Get a sub-editor or professional to look over and fact check your writing. Here's some sub-editing for you; on the house. I don't even need a second hand Kmart bag for my time.
1. You haven't been in the beauty industry for 20 years. You're 40. You didn't start at 20. Fact check.
2. 'She was the beauty editor..for 'a really long time.' Be specific, not vague. How many years?
3. Comma after 'Australia's premium pampering destinations.'
4. Change 'to cater to' to either 'to cater for' or 'catering to.'
5. 'hosts one of Australia's biggest beauty podcast' should read 'podcastS.'
6. If you don't drink more water you might experience some symptoms of dehydration, including dry lips and skin. This should read: If you don't drink enough water, you may experience symptoms including dehydration and dry lips and skin.
7. Commas after '2021' and 'products.'
Her writing is so clunky. Number six in particular is just so awfully written, with such poor syntax. A high school student could write with more fluency. If this is all the attention to detail they can muster after 18 months, what have they been doing? Why launch? The video was bad enough.
Should read: A super nourishing massage oil that restores and nurtures changing skin. I'm looking for a second job, Leigh!?Jade must have needed some SM exposure today

This smacks of something that was launched in a rush in time for Christmas and not quite ready. I get they are two working mums trying to do this, but why? Leigh has her job and her own “creative business” sure she could do with more money but sounds like she spent what she had on this halfcocked business? And Tigga doesn’t need the money, unless she is planning for an eventual future where she will be reliant on her own money and not that of an ex - which is probably smart in her case, but I still don’t see this business being profitable given how much it would have cost to start up and maintain.
Oh the negative reviews won’t be allowed, but if the products do end up being dreadful, people will find other ways to get the word out.I will be curious to see if there will be any/many reviews in the You Beauty group. I guess many won’t dare be too negative there nor will admin allow it, and I guess some will be sucking up. I’m hoping for mostly silence there.
Oh dear lordUmmmmm....
So fair enough to pay out essential oils, but maybe not the day after you launch products containg essential oils?
I feel like the business meetings at Teagan’s home was more pool swimming, Insta content making and watching the kids, perhaps more attention to detail was neededOh dear lord
I'm not a mum and won't be one so I have no interest at all, and don't say anyone can use it when you've actually said it's for mothersI actually don’t mind the packaging, but I like that weird 70s vibe stuff. However I can’t have kids, so they’ve very clearly excluded me from their target market despite tacking on the ‘but anyone can use it’ message.
It’s also very similar to the recently rebranded Epzen range, which Leigh has posted about.
its not similarThe ‘B’ in this logo looks familiar… came across this account today
Woah that’s not an accidentThe ‘B’ in this logo looks familiar… came across this account today
I would say it’s a purchased font rather than stealingWoah that’s not an accident
it would definitely be a purchased font. However. if you’re going to create such an outstanding brand, you’d work a little bit harder to differentiate yourself from the other brands and their branding lol. from a professional standpoint it’s missed the mark completely. At the end of the day the designer has to work to the client and i’m sure leigh would be a nightmare. Very reasonable chance she’s seen that and said i want *that*. which is a shame if so, because they look like a little start up! You really want to differentiate yourself with your branding especially if you want to stand out. Not just buy a font. and actually listen to your designers advice. Anyway, that’s how i work with my clientsI would say it’s a purchased font rather than stealing
