Have my test on Thursday, will be my second one.
Only got a couple of minors on my first one but got a serious fault on my parallel park :(
I’m sooo nervous, felt sick and nervy all week, but having lessons every evening and glued to online videos so hoping they pay off.
Feel the pressure now my theory runs out in a few months. Wish me luck please! X

Good luck! I had a banana and some Rescue Remedy before mine, and it really helped me so much.

I've been having lessons since November. It's going okay but still making lots of silly mistakes.

Biggest problem is I get insanely nervous before each lesson. Feel so nervous. Can't imagine what I'm going to be like when it comes to taking a test.

Honestly you will probably feel nervous. Even once I stopped feeling nervy in lessons the test was a different story. But it's only a test. Worst case you might fail, then you just take it again and sooner or later you will pass. It took me 27 years (albeit I gave up for 25 of those!) and 6 tests but I got there in the end, and you will too.

For lessons what helped me was the right instructor, and having a 2 hour lesson each week. Also I had my own car to practice in between lessons which helped to normalize driving and make me feel less anxious.

On the day of the test definitely a banana, that worked for me!

Thank you so much for your support!
Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I passed!!!
Had an awful lesson before where I messed up the manoeuvres and thought I had no chance.
I got very lucky that my manoeuvre this time was pull up on the right and reverse.
There were so many times I thought I’d messed up, so couldn’t believe it when she said I’d passed 😲
This just goes to show if I can do it - everyone can! Keep going, don’t give up xx

Ah that's brilliant - congratulations!
I'm not even sure I remember now what manoeuvre I did when I passed (I can remember them all from the tests I failed though, including the one when I was 17 and nearly had a breakdown in the car!)

I've got my first test on Monday morning, feeling ok about at the moment not to nervous yet!!
Got some kalms, banana's and herbal drops to help me sleep anything else anyone can recommend to keep the nerves at bay x

It sounds easier said than done but try and act like it’s not an exam, like you can drive (because you clearly can to be at test standard) and you’re just giving someone a lift. They make it very easy as in they will clearly instruct you throughout so it’s just a case of following instructions and driving safely over everything else. Best of luck with it on the day. What time is your test?
