LBC Chit Chat #20

James Hanson back on his favourite topic this morning to scrap the pensions triple lock. A right mix of calls especially the guy from Inverness complaining he has a million pound pension pot from working in the NHS for 55 years who kept on repeating he could not access it.. I think what he was meaning was it doesn't increase and he cannot access it like a private pension so he needs the triple lock? He also kept on saying if anything happens to him that million pound pot is gone? Wonder where that goes if true?

These LBC presenters really do create divide in their topics. When they announce the discussion subjects, you just know the kind of calls they are going to get. They love nothing more than to create division.
It's verging on shock jock tactics sometimes. It's all about being controversial get to the phones ringing. I find there's rarely any proper discussions these days and why I don't listen much.

Enjoyed the first half hour of Ali Mirage, there was a tremendous call from a lady who went to town on Labour and said 'pretty boy' Burnham isn't going to solve anything

It's not that that's the worst, but he knows he can't and is becoming PM on a pretence.

I think he should be judged on what he can or can't achieve. Who knows, he could be a huge success. He could be decisive and innovative and see off Far Right ideology.

He will be judged and quickly. By far right ideology are we talking about an end to illegal immigration and deporting criminals that have arrived that way? Or something else? As that's not political just protecting the people here. Any far right ideology and increasingly violent far left ideology will continue to exist as he's not the one. If he wanted the best for the country he would insist on an election.

No I'm not talking about illegal immigration and protecting our safety. I'm talking about far right thugs who love violence for violence sake , racists who detest anyone who is not white skinned and corruption from those purporting to be looking after the UK's interests but are really just feathering their own nests and sucking up to a US President who isn't an expert on telling the truth.
I have no problems with well balanced far right supporters and politicians.

Far right ideology that is spewing hatred for Pride Month atm as well - which would be detrimental for the LGBTQIA+ community, including Louis from your profile pic!

Happy to be called far right if that means criticising these degenerates

A few decades ago these would have been perverts flashing at kids from bushes

I do think Pride has lost its way a bit over the last few years. It was always billed as family friendly and inclusive but seems to have moved more towards the extreme end of things as is the way with most organisations these days.

I certainly don't see Pride Marches as family entertainment but I recoil from these Latin American sources in view of the historical evidence of their inherent evil which I have studied in depth as part of my degree.

Apparently Angela Rayner made an absolute pig's ear of yesterday's show. Anybody listen?
I wonder whether Jenrick will still do Thurs in view of the Farage investigations? I can see him wanting to be leader once Farage does his inevitable flounce off.

I was quite shocked last year when we were away in a Scottish City and didn't realise there was a huge pride event that weekend. What shocked us was we saw three separate female "couples" where one was lets say a lady of very mature years and the partner/girlfriend draping all over this elder lady certainly looked under 16. They looked like children  We couldn't believe seeing this scenario with 3 different couples.

He turned up in work the day after falling on his halogen oven and was ordered to go to A and E where he spent several days in hospital, worries about some things but seemingly indifferent to others

I still haven't come across those aforementioned podcasts he has apparently started doing yet, but during my searches I did stumble upon the following clip on Youtube from three years ago.

The Sam Smith bit with "fishermen/fisherthem", where Steve incriminates himself and is swifly removed from LBC.

Furious Farage rant at 2pm. Witch hunt waffle no doubt. Jobby misses out again..
