I’m a long time lurker. I’ve recently had my second baby, Daisy, 6 weeks ago (funnily enough, I was due 1 week after BYG (according to her) but she was 10 days late).
anyway, I’m going through a really crap time. I also have a beautiful 2 and a half year old, Poppy. The kids are unbelievably hard work but that’s not the problem. My husband is treating me like shite at the moment, and has been for some time. I get up with the baby during the night 6 days a week (I get one night off) because he’s going to work and he does a physical job etc. I do all the housework, cook 4 nights out of 5, he basically doesn’t lift a finger until he comes in for work and spends a bit of time with the kids.
i don’t mind doing all this l, because I’m on maternity leave, but my problem is, he doesn’t appreciate ONE thing I do.He puts me down. He gives love to the kids and even the dogs, but doesn’t have a kind word for me. He has sly digs at me.
I’m basically at breaking point. So I just wanted to say, thank you for giving me the only couple of laughs I get when I have a chance to look… thanks so much, you are all hilarious xxx much love
