Hi Antonio:
Thanks for your comments and clarifications. I was referring to
"conversations in NY the reality of living your passion" 17 April 2017.
It does not surprise me that K couldn't get an industry job in Rome either.
Earlier on this forum, there were some direct quotes from K regarding regularly getting in at 4 or 5am from partying and
relying upon the kindness of strangers providing an apartment. Do you refer to this timeframe (post 2017).
How does one show up for work and function in a no sleep state, why allow oneself to live that way (dangerously) all the way until crash and burn and also sell that
lifestyle as an aspiration in a highly competitive landscape in which the A game is necessary as mere baseline.
Regarding the industry: is Rome a place where, as in NYC, one can hide in one's anonymity, or a scene in which everyone knows everyone?
Back to the present matronly era:
It seems curious how G+K may be monetizing their existence/properties. Unlike accommodations which publicly advertise their location and area business affiliations in order for visitors to plan and optimize their stay, G+K seem to be withholding info on
special places which allows for easier monetization now and down the track. For example the sign up sheet for the ceramic business
, (which by the way has a warning on the website header bar that it is not secure, so anyone signing up pls know all your info is not secure) is one way to control monetization. The entire G+K series in Tuscany seem to be leading viewers/Patreons further into the (crockery second lined) labyrinth.
One wonders how K's stated concept of
gratuitous beauty meshes with, overlays, or informs the monetization process, or the entire process.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
