Ooh yeah, that and the one about helping suicidal teenagers  .

I seem to have missed her lecture on neorealist cinema but if it was anything like the one she did on contemporary art a month or so ago I should count myself lucky
It’s the “new and improved” kylie; watch for it soon on your shelves !

This next video, today, should be very interesting. I doubt that Guido will have any part in it.

Anyone want to learn about roofing ??

If you’re not prepared for dealing with rudeness, then you’re probably not ready to live in Italy, is their answer for their NOT responding to inquiries about renting their Villa property !!

Well the new KyLie and The Purse flog is just one long boast along with the usual lip-biting, midriff-showing and ghastly baby-talk and oohing and aaahing about more rusted junk in the attic and some painted pots you see all over Italy🤦🏼‍♂️

The video was pointless except for Kylie to show off and make constant references to how many properties/farms/villas Guido’s family owns, the grand-parent’s mausoleum, the ceramics she’s bought with the Purse’s mother and showing a dark little cottage they are going to reno and rent out along with the father’s villa (that of course KyLie wants to live in too🙄)

Obviously Kylie jumped the gun and advertised the whole complex on an earlier video and Guido said it wasn’t even ready and now they make that as an excuse for ignoring for months the emails people have taken the trouble to write them.

It’s incredibly rude and bad-mannered and the Purse’s excuse that he didn’t reply because people have to get used to waiting in Italy and the slow movement of bureaucracy was very poor. Guido had an unpalatable arrogance as if he deigned to write to or rent the property to someone, how lucky they would be to have a taste of his noblesse oblige. They are an unbelievably pretentious pair and becoming more insufferable (just the right word @Denise0211 ) every week😬

This little village is going to be inundated with thousands of tourists “descending”, now that she gave the name. Well, she had to in order to gain her commissions !

Next week we’ll see how many policemen they had to hire to handle all the traffic !!

I see that Guido is much more cooperative this time; when they diverged opinion on what food would best be served on the new platter (salad or meat), she gave him the eye and he quickly demurred.

Good Boy, Guido !

Did I use "insufferable?" I don't want to take anyone else's credit and I can't remember lol. But thanks😉

I have only watched maybe 6 or 7 mins and thought the same about her (stupidly) promoting it much too early. A month or 2 ago someone even wrote in her comments saying she was coming in Sept and needed to know the details about the rental and when to have a meeting lol!!

Agree it was quite rude of Guido to not reply and just brush it off with a lame excuse in this video. I get he was probably annoyed getting hit with emails already, but he could have sent a standard reply to all. Or had Kylie do it since it was her error jumping the gun.

I feel sorry for whoever takes it on, seems like a money pit to me.

As I assumed, the comments have taken a gushing and positive turn again. They just love Team Kylie and Guido. I wonder how Guido's family feel knowing they are basically nothing without Queen Kylie. 🙄😂😂

You have to give her credit; she stands around watching workers do the roofing, her mother in law drives her to the village to get priority treatment at the pottery, she has the run of the manor house, the Florence apartment, a number of family owned farms, the restaurant complex in the middle of nowhere, the chicken coop and pigsty to “reno” and all she has to do is pose for the camera and have a box opening with puppy Guido who watches dutifully and plays his part by tossing the random expected compliment her way.

Her viewers think she has the quintessential Italian life and stupidly send her money.

She’s come a long way from aspiring escort to lady of the manor.

What could go wrong ?!

One long brag fast, she shoots herself in the foot by carrying on and on abut how she want to live there because of the roof tiles , and the frescoes and then proceeds to say it’s too far away from everything! Well Kyles coming from you who lives at the extreme edge of the impractical, hardly an enticement for any one else who might dare to enjoy some convenient amenities to consider moving in.
Out of curiosity I followed the link to Mummy’s ceramics laboratorio guess what ? In order to see anything of the catalogue you must register , okay, do that, guess what ? The link is disabled and the form won’t send , and there is some line about whether out staff approves your registration or not . Thanks for nothing Kyles
Red herring and a nerrr, ner.🤌🏽😵💫

Just a glitch; of course, you’ll first have to be approved to make sure you arrived via her vlog so as to ensure they can duly calculate KyLie’s commission.

Recent postings about her new found social conscience, no more mention; I guess that’s flown out with the wind, as fast as it blew in !

Fido, I mean Guido, is the good puppy that he is, still entranced at his perceived good luck at landing an escort girl for the family manor house. We’ll see if he still has the run of the house once KyLie trains him.

I see she reaches for the occasional hug, but he never does; unusual for a puppy.

How self-serving was that video? Imagine the family in a business meeting with the "visionary", hell bent to exploit the fan base, seeing herself as the 'new world' come to shake up the old ways of traditional, provincial landowners. Maybe Guido was right to ignore it all without a business plan. As I remember it first time round it seemed a precarious set-up. ---- any potential investor would pour money in a project (just the roof €78,000) to renovate and then use the properties WITHOUT HAVING ANY RIGHTS OF OWNERSHIP or guarantees in the future except a private contract between the parties. After a sloppy start they are sharpening their pencils to finalize a lease always to the family's advantage with Kylie as PR
. She is worming her way into being a family asset and saviour.
Ugh, that attitude of the cat that got the cream, smug at her new found status as lady of the manor, flirting & leaning on Guido, the unboxing of the ceramics " ti piace, amore?", smarming "so lucky having a mother-in- law with good taste similar to me" - unwatchable as always as we all agree - yet however we do with horrid fascination.

So one of thé commenters says Saint KyLie should give thé empty buildings to refugees and asylum seekers @nostoneunturned - can you imagine that self-serving, arrogant pair even contemplating that?! The Purse is all about making as much money as possible from the rents and she is all about advertising them on her vlogs and getting as much money as possible from her Patreons.

@Spirit of place the KF smugness is off the charts now and the unwrapping of the ceramics was cringe-making with all of the fake accents and false sentiments🙄

@Denise0211 did you notice in the comment section she only now likes some of the comments and ignores the rest and is very selective about who she bothers to reply to (always self-serving)? Does she only make the effort to click the like button on a comment if they are paying Patreons? It certainly looks like it. Who on earth would give her money now?😳

I lové one of thé ludicrous comments under Kylie’s slog saying how she has shown thé Purse how to appreciate his family history, Italy and how to renovate old buildings (obviously long planned before she arrived on thé scene)🙈

Can you imagine what kind of landlords they would be if you sincerely took them up on their offer to develop a restaurant business out in the countryside and, should it become successful, after lots of hard work, receiving the attitude all interested parties actually did receive from them (“get used to Italy’s rudeness”) that they intentionally did not respond to inquiries over the past two months ?

Landlords in Italy get all the breaks and advantages, it’s very one sided, so good luck to any tenants, after investing time and money, if their landlord breaks the lease.

@nostoneunturned. How very odd about being so snobby about having access to the catalogue. It is just that - a catalogue showing their pottery not Old Masters or Bitcoins. Maybe they're wary of the Kylie influence ??
Btw, the designs are very similar to the traditions of De Ruta in Umbria. Nothing to say about it, just respect for local craftsmen and their uphill struggle to maintain their position in a mass produced market. But why not open up and try marketing without suspicion?

My apologies for the radio silence during this past week. I have had professional engagements in Oman with wall-to-wall meetings and patchy internet connectivity during my downtime. I stayed in Muscat for much of my visit, attending a conference on New Species of Arabian Freshwater Fish in Oman. You will see from the attached photographs that I was in auspicious company. The week culminated in intense (but ultimately successful) negotiations with Omani Fisheries for permission to sell canned Emperor Bream fillets in the county of Cornwall.

It looks like there’s plenty of material to catch up with on here, including Kylie’s latest video and discussion over a review she wrote for Romeing on La Grande Bellezza. I did manage to catch her short Instagram film from the departure lounge of Muscat International Airport, where I saw the signature midriff. Whatever we say, I firmly believe it’s an essential part of Kylie’s personal aesthetic; she will continue to expose her enviably toned abs. long into her dotage, providing she doesn’t overindulge on the cannoli siciliani.

Looking forward to catching up anon. Missed you all.

Gaius Plinius Secundus

p.s. For those of us looking to boost our B12 and selenium reserves, does anyone think smoked mackerel pâté might work as an alternative filling, instead of the customary ricotta confection, for cannoli?

Good morning, Spirit! It may be that my memory is faulty but I wasn't sure that they were looking for a Eu. 78K investment in the roof but thought they were looking for someone to rent the villa. I can't remember the figures now, was it Eu. 2K per month and to take on the restaurant business. And were they going to apply for some funding or a loan for the roof? Then again, my memory may not be serving me correctly. I haven't the energy to back track over the relevant vlog right now! :)

@plinlyn. Last time round when they did the tour of the villa Guido was totting up the expenses a tenant would pay to make it habitable & remember they made it seem a privilege NOT to own it & have the responsibility (but just to finance it) In fact I commented on it at the time.
After all the talk of fish here you have been caught up with pilchards in Oman..curiouser & curiouser 😳 OR was it a bit of tongue in cheek to have time out from slippery discussions??

I will have to go over that previous vlog again Spirit. The Emperor Bream negotiations were particularly fraught and I’ve just been decompressing at the gym. So, more soon. Interesting what K had to say about the roof tiles. Again I may have misunderstood but it seems as though there is flexibility as to whether they go for old style tiles or new. I once owned a Queen Anne house in Suffolk it was Grade II listed and very strict rules when it came to replacing anything on the building to maintain its historical integrity.

I went back to the video & saw I'd stopped watching after the run down cottage bit so missed the 2k offer for all the properties pm & the fast-talking pitch in the car to convince people. My thought is 'how dare you fling those proposals out to 230,000 subs & then no one in the family can be bothered to answer at all' as @Antonio rightly says it shows their 'unpalatable arrogance' & inherent sense of noblesse oblige'. Obviously when the offers came in to the family's eMail they just binned them as being part of Kylie's cinematic dreaming. So no apologies there then. 😠

So there's a logic to the midriff then, Plinyin? To show off toned abs? Didn't reckon it ...but if that's her best selling point, then go for it.
