I think you all are right, the "big surprise" is a dog. He must have got word that Rocco was going to be put down before the parents arrived, and this is his big opportunity to guilt Casey to get her to cave (hence why he needed her permission).

Totally makes sense however I will say that hopefully his stupid fans will finally see through his BS and see that he’s monetizing this poor dog’s death. Think about it, what the hell does him getting a dog have anything have to do with Rocco’s death??? I mean it’s not like Rocco was his and Casey’s dog that he took care of and lived with him. It’s the family pet that his parents took care of. The dog lived in a completely different household and a completely different state. Even his most loyal fans have said in his comment section that he should not get a dog. I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
