Sounds good, thanks guys. I'm glad they are doing well and hoping the scans go well. Jessica looks quirky and happy.

Really nice to see Tess (Jessica's cousin and surrogate) and her husband Jeff. What an incredible, loving, and selfless couple Tess and Jeff are. Not only did Tess offer to carry Jessica and Brian's baby, but her husband Jeff donated a kidney to a stranger. 🥲 Incredible people. Very happy for Jessica and Brian. Not much longer for them to go now before meeting baby Elsie. Oh and I loved Tess's t-shirt. 😄

UPDATE: Elsie Clara arrived on Friday Oct 13 at 2:30 am. Welcome Miss Elsie !! Tess was diagnosed with hypertension the day before and was sent to the hospital to be induced. Unfortunately Tess had a post-partum hemorrhage which of course is very serious. She was given blood transfusions and underwent a procedure to make sure all of the placenta was removed. Tess was then discharged home on Sunday.

Elsie already made her YT debut. We found out that Elsie was named for Jessica's great grandmother and grandmother. The great grandmother died after giving birth to her daughter. That's a bit creepy knowing that in the "olden days" Tess probably would not have survived the post partum bleed.

But overall such happy news. 🤱

Sorry, but a stage 3 cancer patient having a baby is a terrible idea. Selfish.

You are right. People who had cancer should not have babies, they should forget it. They should not go on with their lives. They should sit and wait for the cancer to return for years to come.

Are you serious? And have you even followed Jessica's cancer journey? She is NED and she was not even stage 4. She may well live for 50 more years.

People with stage 3 and 4 cancer have a very limited life expectancy. For example the lung cancer survival rate statistics say 58% of those diagnosed at stage 3 won't survive more than 12 months.

Who is going to raise the orphan?

People with stage 3 absolutely don't have a 'very limited life expectancy'. Especially not when treated successfully. It may never come back.

No evidence of disease—often referred to as NED—means exactly that: At present, no signs of disease have been found on any tests. It doesn't mean cured.

What source are you referring to? Can you post it here?
Of course she is not cured. She is still only NED. It does not mean she won't live for many years.

Very true and she doesn't have lung cancer like the quoted statistic.

I am baffled by that statistic. That would definitely not relate to 'easier' cancers, for example Hodgkin's lymphoma which has a high survivability rate even at stage 4.

Hopefully Jessica will live a long life, but even using your scenario, why do you use the word orphan? Are you not aware of Brian?

Boy some real cancer survival experts on here giving comments. As to whether they should have had children not really a valid topic anymore...they have Else now and she is beautiful. Were anything happen to Jessica I am sure Brian would take over with more than enough family support. Whether it was a bit too soon...that is another question...again a moot issue but it did seem very fast to me. Now she faces more scans shortly. One thing I am not a big fan of is the exposure that very young infant has had on YT and IG and probably elsewhere. I don't agree with that.

Newest video from the Krocks. Nice to see them so happy after all they've been through. What a kind, generous, and selfless person Tess is. Very scary all that she ended up going through. Best cousin ever, pretty much.
