Oh come on now @Wee Nora, I think my post was fairly balanced and I readily admitted to not knowing much about their work because a) I don't listen to rap and b) especially if it's in Irish. I know of them through Hasan Piker and the Palestinian cause. Anyway, what is wrong with using the word agitator? Agitator is defined as "a person who stirs up others in order to upset the status quo and further a political, social, or other cause." I could have called them tit-disturbers. I would use the same word to describe Kanye, Madonna, Morrissey or John Lydon; people who have a history shooting their mouths off for shock value.

You can learn all you want about a subject in history, anecdotes from family, people who were there, but it will still never compare to actually living through it.

Generational trauma is a way of living through it though. We're barely one generation on - there are grown ups now who lost parents, aunts, uncles, etc. The scars of this sort of thing remain long after a peace agreement.

One of them is from Derry, the other two from West Belfast and their age is irrelevant. There are babies being born today who will be affected by the troubles because intergenerational trauma isn’t anecdotal.

The biggest report of its kind into intergenerational trauma in NI was completed in February and the findings were conclusive, intergenerational is widespread and affects everything from educational outcomes to health and life expectancy. We have huge legacy issues here, walls still divide parts of Belfast because our “peace” is a very fragile one. Shocked I have to point that out tbh.

The very recent legacy of Belfast will absolutely affect new generations in a way they're perfectly entitled to both explore and lampoon.

Thank you. Let's not also forget the babies born in gaza also today who will grow up with the most horrific trauma to be inflicted on any human beings ever.

I can’t with this thread. The ignorance and willingness of some people to excuse Israel’s actions is unbelievable.
Hurry up somebody start the fan policing chat again before I lose my mind 🤣🤣🤣

I feel sick every time their names come up…even sicker that they are playing a gig on October 7th. They couldn’t give a toss how much damage they do to the lives of strangers as long as they get the attention they crave and money keeps rolling in. Not a single person is talking about their music - only how the big, scary Jewish conspiracy is trying to stifle their ‘freedom of speech’. The damage they and countless others have done to our communities is beyond comprehension. One of them is nearly 40 and wearing a tricolour tea cosy whilst wrapping himself in the flag of a movement that is doing a lot more than just knee-capping actual Gazans for wanting Hamas to release hostages and bring this to an end. Honestly, stepped in dog tit with more integrity.
I’ve lurked on this thread til now but my GOD stop 😂😂😂
’playing a gig on October 7th’. Yeah, I’m going to work that day too, what of it?

Seen this on X yesterday. I was busy clutching my pearls but I do hope someone informed the counter terrorism police.

funny how nobody (including the first minister himself) was arsed about them playing at a festival in a city where there’s likely to be loads of sectarian bother, but a couple of words about an MP and they’re all up in arms
Our gov ( past/ present) is made up of people that were involved/ affiliated with terrorism , still very strong in their beliefs and taxpayer funded …Let that sink in.

Someone’s happy to meet the real Santa Claus 🎅🏻 🙂
Nice to see them posing with a man who murdered a woman with seven children and buried her elsewhere so they couldn't even give her a proper send off.
Great bunch of lads.

His brother is a n and he likely is one too. Your point?
Yes we all know about Andrew, we’ve seen the documentary 😉

You judge Kneecap for posing with him so I was just wondering if similar judgement applies to the King but it’s ok, I already know the answer. Have a nice day.

Does Gerry have his own thread or would he sue us all for defamation of character?

Has everyone watched/read Say Nothing? He well ordered that murder. He also gets to play at being an elder statesman, well paid and in a well cut suit while his former cohorts are alchies and PTSD ridden broken old men. I don't think he believes in anything but himself.

Having said all that, I unfortunately find him maddly attractive and would be fine with him tying me to a chair and punishing me for all the crimes of the English.

This is by far the worst thing I have ever read on Tattle and I feel like that says a lot

Yet cancelled for highlighting a regime that kill thousands of women and children 😏
