I have been feeling a tad nauseous and then just now came over all sick and faint, anyone else experiencing this? It came in a wave and is gone now but still feel a bit light headed. Gonna tough it out but maybe just go lay in bed if it gets worse. I hate being ill.
Hmmmmmm sounds like low blood sugar or blood pressure. Are you prone to this? Are you eating enough. If it continues you may need to up your carb in take.

Sounds like nasty keto flu. Keep your liquids up and take electrolytes if you have them.

Yeah it must have been, I’m drinking water With electrolyte tablets like a fish! It’s gone now thankfully and I feel fine again, just kind of paranoid that I’m gonna wake up tomorrow hit with the dreaded flu -_-

My first Keto Mug Cake! Wasn’t expecting much but it was absolutely bloody gorgeous.. seriously nice! 337 cals and 5g carb for the mug cake. Added double cream on top 🤷🏻‍♀️😋

I’ve only had 15g carbs today! But I’ve eaten too many calories, I’m planning on getting back to around 1,200 calories once I’ve gotten over the initial transition to keto - or I don’t think I’ll be losing much weight which was one of the whole aims!

Thought I would jump in the thread as I could really do with jumping from size 16 to at least a 12 (dream after kids). I red online about experiencing bad breath with keto tmi sorry but can anyone confirm? Something to do with how your body works

I’ve only had 15g carbs today! But I’ve eaten too many calories, I’m planning on getting back to around 1,200 calories once I’ve gotten over the initial transition to keto - or I don’t think I’ll be losing much weight which was one of the whole aims!
Don’t restrict too much, keto isn’t a deficit diet as such. I eat my BMR worth of food at least (about 1730 cals) but also don’t force food if you’re full ☺

You can absolutely lose weight by eating 'normal' amount of calories. And make those calories count by having nutrient rich foods. I easily lost a huge chunk of weight by eating way over 2000 cals daily which is why I always chuckle at the preachers who say you have to restrict to lose weight.

Wow that’s amazing to know. I would like to do the same, just focus on carb more than the calories!

I’m on 1688 which is decent and gives me room to reduce calories as I near my goal which hopefully won’t take too long 😁

Does anyone read the Reddit Keto uk forum? Obsessed! Have scrolled right back and have bought some low carb wraps (4g each) and low carb bread from carbzone which was equally as low, oh and some cheesies which were free samples from the cheesies website (pay p&p).

I think I need to do a proper menu plan, I have loads of recipes I want to do but I want to make sure I don’t end up having tit loads of dairy in one day, need some more restraint 😂

Wow that’s amazing to know. I would like to do the same, just focus on carb more than the calories!
I never once counted calories to keep track, only counted out of amazement. There was about a six month stint where I had to increase the amount I ate to push the scale to go down. Other times introducing different types of exercise etc.

Even though that mug cake filled me up, I fancied a little snack while I watch Jane the Virgin (obsessed with this show!) I got these pork scratchings in Sainsburys, £2 for a 6 pack, the bags are teeny though so I wouldn’t necessarily rush back to buy more yknow? I realllllly want to buy some Cheesies from Amazon, they’re in my basket waiting 😅

I drink tonnes of water but I do quite a lot of exercise, running, long walks etc and sometimes I feel I need a boost!! You seem to know your way around keto and I’m fairly new so any advice / tips would really help x

I fell off the wagon at the weekend and this week I’ve stalled on the weight loss. Has anyone else found that? I’ve been really strict for last three days after the indulgent weekend and was hoping it might fall off like it was but I feel like I’m a bit constipated (TMI). Has anyone else found that?

Constipation is common on Keto diet, apparently eating 10 sugar free gummy bears will help as they have a laxative effect
