Why did she even go to A&E with G/was she even allowed?? In the last year my husband has been rushed to hospital in an ambulance twice and been another 4 times for related issues. I haven’t been able to go with him as since Covid our A&E are still not allowing people to accompany people unless they are a dependent. (Though atm I think it’s more waiting space atm as people have been sitting on the floor as not many seats)

Perhaps Kathleen was allowed I'm with Gsus as she is so smoll it was assumed she was his child?
I went to a UK hospital with a relative recently and it was packed, only patients were allowed chairs etc. Very difficult for everyone and staff. I have no idea how it got to this state.

She could have kept him as anonymous as she liked when they were first dating and called him anything, or indeed nothing at all, so that isn't the reason. She was probably worried that they'd struggle to make money from being the hip young London couple she imagines they are if they're "Kathleen and Geoff" so she's gunned hard for "Katie and G"

Last thing I think of when I'm down with something, is what is everyone else up to? (I also had a terrible cold last week and didn't not for once had any form of FOMO? I just tried to do a bit of work from home because I'm leaving my job and don't want to leave things unfinished).

I never understand the influencer thing of a sickness selfie. It's like people that phone in sick doing the "I'm not well" voice, I just find it really odd. It just feels so "oh, woe is meeeeee" - never once have I thought, when poorly, "ooh, I'll just grab a quick shot to commemorate this moment!". It must require a very different mindset that I just don't have.
I'm the same as you @martaS - when I'm poorly, I couldn't give a tit what other people are up to. If I had something arranged (seeing friends for example) I would be sad about not seeing them, but other than that....people could be tootling off to the moon for a massive orgy for all I care, just give me my pain and comfort films

What is she talking about with sleep deprivation. Is she referring to when her and G-sus waited in A&E for one night?
I wouldn’t say it’s the worst thing ever considering in her words, she wrote the next day off. Not really an issue when you don’t have responsibilities

Ofcourse she got sick after spending a few hours in a&e and Ofcourse it was the worst she ever felt ever. As soon as I saw that intro pik of the lemon tea I knew we are in for a monumental whinge fest.
she didn’t even explain what Geoffbury went in a&e for in the first place- she noted ‘chest pains’ but never provided closure for all the morons on her page who fretted over it- I can guarantee it was something like indigestion or muscular pain.

Imagine @Ing the brand of a small bottle of apple juice the nieghbours dropped over. What desperation. She loves dropping in that that they're friendly with their neighbours doesn't she, it clearly makes her feel grown up and popular whilst validating that they've both been oh so sickly (with minor ailments).
