K but like, does he have a magic peen or something? Because I'm really not seeing what he adds to the relationship. She does most of the childrearing, earns most/all of the money, runs the house... He just seems to golf. Like, girl. There are toys that will fulfill most of the voids he fills and I'm pretty sure there's an app for the rest.

It’s baffling TBH. From the outside, it looks like she’s diminished by him. And much as she may protest otherwise, she doesn’t seem happy to me.
my life is slightly rit at the minute… but after listening to the last few podcasts I feel sorrier for Katherine than I do for myself. Which considering all her material wealth and privilege is quite mad.
Having two young babies and a teen is very hard no matter the material wealth.

It’s so funny how if anyone emailed in with that situation for advice she would instantly tell them to leave their sorry a, but she is trying to convince everyone (& probably herself) that it’s a fair & balanced relationship. Love can only take you so far.
Agh now come on, you can still have your hobbies. Parenting doesn't have to be like a 5 year stretch in prison. But BK needs to golf a hell of a lot less and KR needs a hobby that doesn't involve kiddies. Then there is balance, right now there is zero.
In saying all this, if you give someone like BK an inch they take a mile!!

I’d be a bit concerned about him burning through her money too. While she’s quite well off, she’s in a precarious business and one where you can’t guarantee your income will remain at the same level over time. There will probably be quite a high level of debt too (mortgage etc). The lifestyle/outgoings look pretty extravagant, and likely to remain so with three kids if she wants private school etc. And it doesn’t seem like he’s contributing much (financially or otherwise TBH).
I think the way things are going, she might slip up and say something cancellable which would put a stop to her regular paycheck.
I have to agree with this and have been wondering what she might say. If I had to put money on it would say, something anti LGBTQ+ and a lot of her fan may be in this demographic. I would imagine feminists would be waining with her BS too.
I can't believe she had babies so close together. My second is around the same age as her son and there is no way I could cope with a baby as well, oh my goodness the thought gives me chills!

I reckon she’s very aware her fan base is a lot of gay men so she has to be very careful with being seen to support the LGBT community but she’s definitely a feminist and I can see a possible conflict there. You need to be super careful not to upset a certain letter of the LGBTQIA community

I am literally begging to keep gender chat out of this thread; it infects so many threads and it's so bloody depressing.

It is depressing, I agree with that. It is the open topic I will say I am a fence sitter on cause it is just feckin easier that way.
But Katherine has made her whole career talking about feminism and gender issues, so it’s only natural that this topic comes up either when discussing her or when she talks about topical things on her podcast.
