It’s very common for women to lose themselves and their identity and sense of self after they have kids. It doesn’t seem to happen with men really. I’ve not commented recently as I’m beginning to feel quite sorry for her. She’s losing herself after having two babies very close together. She’s all consumed with being a mum and wife and it’s become her entire personality. She’s probably feeling very vulnerable and clinging on for dear life to the only other adult in her home - who hasn’t lost his sense of self, because he’s a man and evidentially does minimal parenting in comparison and still has his hobbies outside the home.
I’ve seen this happen to so many women, and it happened to me. You don’t realise until the kids are older and all you are left with is your husband, who never changed and never lost himself as he wasn’t as consumed with parenting as you were.
She makes Violet sound awful in the latest ep. Fair enough most teens are a bit awful and self centred and lots are spoiled but it’s seems mean to publicise it for Violet. She might decide later she doesn’t want all this info about her in the public domain
Exactly, that's why I cringe when she says she has "permission" from Violet. How can your teen child give informed permission for this stuff?
It's ok when comedians use satirised versions of their family drama in stand up. Over the top exaggerations of things. We all understand it's a show, a story etc. But the continual sharing of the minutiae of Violet's life is concerning. I can only hope there is very little cross over between people in Violet's life and those that listen to the podcast.
I used to really like her but then found she got super annoying. She’s very sanctomommy - toilet training etc, and I didn’t like the way she slagged off the Julia girl knocking around with Kaybe because she had a kid she should be at home with, like we should never leave the house once we’ve had a kid
Personally I just think she’s a pound shop version of Joan Rivers.

And not to be to mean, but Bobby is so dull! I really don't understand the pairing of the two of them. I get second hand embarrassment listening to him/them.
I do love her as a comedian, and have seen her live a few times, but as others have said, I think she's not as funny since getting together with B.

I agree, I really admired her and while I always thought her 'comedy' was pure cack, I did like her as a person/parent/feminist. She thinks BK has opened her mind to a new way of thinking since meeting him, eh no love!! He has closed your mind to a narrow way of thinking now and you are so perpetually dull and uninteresting since you met him. He must be an energy vampire cause she just doesn't have the same energy or cool aura anymore. Or maybe she is now living her true self and the other personality was just a performance, pair of wet blankets.
Very telling that of all the male comedians she chooses to befriend Bobby, she picks a notorious right winger. I’m sorry, I know some people find it admirable that she is with someone whose political beliefs don’t necessarily align with hers, but I find it hard to believe that someone who was genuinely progressive and committed to activism would be able to stomach sleeping next to someone whose ideals oppose theirs, let alone raise a family with them. I foresee Katherine becoming more and more conservative the longer she is with Bobby.I thought it was odd she was arranging a play date for Bobby and Geoff Norcottlike she’s not busy enough with a newborn and going back to work. It just seemed a bit desperate. She obviously wants Bobby to have his own pals but it’s cringe how she’s stepping in. It’s very mum like behaviour
One of her really early podcasts (in 2020 when the BLM movement had a lot of attention and momentum) she was talking about how important is it to support and amplify Black comedians - specifically London Hughes who had a new Netflix show. In a later podcast she said that Bobby told her she was virtue signalling. Looking back now that was a clear alarm signal showing what an absolute piece of work he is.
She sounds so unhappy in her latest podcast - so frustrated and miserable. If that's really how she's feeling and she's not in character in some way, I really feel for her. Although I'm glad she is finally letting her feelings out instead of constantly trying to radiate this image of constant serenity. She has tons on her plate and she's allowed to feel stressed!

I know! Anyone who listened to that part of the podcast would be absolutely baffled to learn that the dad is not only in the picture, but is actually married to her, and on top of that, doesn't have a job!
So let me get this straight. She’s driving to Birmingham for work and having to take all 3 kids with her. All the while her husband and father to her kids is out playing golf! She must have the patience of a saint because I’d be spitting feathers!
I’ve only just watched her Louis Theroux episode, she seems almost sociopathic and detached! She does seem infatuated with Bobby though. She used to look so different when she was younger, I didn’t realise how much her face had changed since the early days!
I wouldn’t swap my normal life for hers, not even if I was paid. Bobby is neither use nor ornament. No thank you. I never thought she’d be the type to stand for his wet lettuceness. Is it because he has almost the same body as a film star? I hope she gets herself back soon
