Wow what a sanctimonious so and so. She was so smug on stories of look at me look at me, in going to support some small businesses.
I didn't see her asking for a free item. She has such a brass neck. What a cheek just buy and supoirt the small business. Her and the lazy husband are utterly pathetic.

I’m not a huge fan of Kate, she was great when she first started YouTube but she seems very unrelatable now and the constant ads 
I was horrified she was asking for small businesses to send her items! The problem with all these “influencers” jumping on the support small business bandwagon is if they had actually paid any attention at all, they’d realise a lot are closing in the next few weeks or have already closed due to high numbers of orders. A lot of ones I follow can’t get help in like normal because of COVID, but have never been so busy previously so are trying to keep on top of orders to ensure they reach people for Christmas, even more so with delayed post due to COVID. Realistically by the time someone has sent Kate something and she’s made the video, it’s going to be far too late to order anyway. IF she’d actually cared she’d have been saying this back in August/September. I had a friend post she wanted small business recommendations but the issue is small businesses don’t sell dozens of different items, they tend to specialise in one area, so you need to be more specific and if you want candles, look/ask for a small business that sells candles

I haven’t and won’t watch it but SEVEN ads! I noticed on her grid post Tommy’s commented and she said I’m donating all the profit to you...seems like she’s only said that because they commented? Why not say on the video all profits would be donated to them

When I clicked on the video to watch it did say In the box that all proceeds from the ads would be going to Tommy’s which made me instantly know what must have happened.

As much as I wouldn’t want anyone to go through a miscarriage and know that it’s a really horrible thing I feel she is using it as an excuse.

I feel like she was building it up to say she lost a baby at a much later stage.
It was a chemical pregnancy, which ended only a few days after her period.

She is pathetic, honestly I don’t know why she doesn’t just whip her violin out and play it for herself....... the way she goes on about all her anxieties grates on me so much especially when she is supposedly scared to travel/ fly etc yet she manages to get over it when it suits for her gifted long haul trips! Her fake Disney princess persona is so transparent she is nothing more than an insta-bleep willing to advertise anything, and use any subject she can for views!

As much as she annoys me, as someone who is struggling with infertility, I did have sympathy for her. Knowing the proceeds were meant to be donated, I've just tried to watch her video but the amount of ads in it just made it unwatchable to be honest.
And (this might be controversial, so absolutely no offence meant to anybody) not to take away from someone's loss and grief, I'm not sure how she is justifying her laziest YEAR of work ever on something from August, which as she pointed out herself in the video, from a health perspective was very manageable.
No, I would never expect someone to push out videos while mentally struggling, but neither her nor her lazy husband do ANYTHING all day, every day... She still managed to push out the ads, just not any actual content...

You are completely right in what you have said. What annoys me further (I haven’t watched the video) is that not everyone has the luxury of being able to be lazy work wise when they are going through something like this. The majority of people still get up, pretend to be ok and go to work every single day. What a selfish and ignorant thing to say. She doesn’t realise how fortunate she is to have taken some time to heal.
Yeah I hate to say it and feel bad as I know things like this can affect everyone differently but I agree. I have had chemical pregnancies myself and whilst i appreciate that people will differ in their responses I felt a wee bit sad at the time but as a previous poster has said I just went to work etc as normal as physically it’s just really getting your period a bit late. It’s good that she’s donating money but littering the video with ads felt jarring. I hate to be cynical but does feel like a bit of a lame excuse and a way of just trying to boost engaging and get subscribers back on side again before the big onslaught of Christmas ads and swipe ups that they’ll be hoping rakes them in the big money.

I had a feeling it would be something like this and I do feel for her, of course. I generally enjoy her videos (I tend to like the mundane stuff like grocery hauls and what I eat in a day), although I do think she's been overdoing it with the Instagram ads lately.

I agree with the comments here that she was just using it as an excuse, she lost any sympathy with all the ads. I half expected she was going to start playing some sad music at one point for effect. I definitely thought like another poster she was building up to a much later pregnancy loss. Chemical pregnancies are not rare and most women don't even realise it's happened. I hate to sound mean but it did sound like she was just looking for sympathy and engagment, the more she said she wasnt the more I didn't believe it. Her and the husband are extremely lazy what's grating them this year is the lack of free holidays (that she fortunaly got over a lifelong fear of flying very quickly just to start taking advantage of) .

If I'm brutally honest I don't think a video even needed to be made about it, let alone such a long video. I know she's donating money raised from it to charity etc etc etc but I don't think a video about a chemical pregnancy is necessary. Lots of people probably wouldn't even have mentioned it to their followers.
