She seems to have a bit of a habit for adopting elderly folk as grandparents. This is an Instagram post she made in 2016, which is dedicated to her grandad. The grandad that’s just passed she only knew for three years meaning their relationship will have been established in 2020. Val’s dad died in 2003, and Mick/Mike’s (answers to both) dad died decades ago so this mysterious grandparent isn’t a biological relation to her.

Does it annoy anybody else when she goes on about her busy day when it’s just HOBBIES bowls aqua and Zumba are hobbies. I wish I had time to do hobbies multiple times a week but unfortunately I have to go to work 45 hours a week to pay for bills . What is she gonna do when her parents are no longer her.
The light admin role she did for the bowls club could have been a great opportunity for her. But sounds like she was very incompetent at it. Either that or she didn’t try very hard. Shame as she could have done more with that role , using social media etc to bring more awareness to the club.

She could volunteer down the local charity shop one or two mornings a week. She would meet new people and new friends instead of hanging around with people over the age of 60. I know she is disabled but so am I , my workplace makes adjustments for me which legally they have to do, she just knows she doesn’t have to worry about work because her parents pay for everything & can live at their house but obviously that won’t be the case forever. her parents are quite old, she needs to think about the future to be fair.

. I’d love it if this became a regular occurrence. During phone-ins, people deceive Kate by pretending to be Eastenders characters.Totally not an overreaction.
