The Tuesday Night show might not be dead yet... I recall a few weeks ago that Steve was on holiday, and one of the other presenters (think she was called Clare?) co-hosted with Kate. They may just rejig the line-up, ala Chris Evans leaving Top Gear

Perhaps, although Clare has her own show for an hour before the request show, so it depends if she wants to do 3 hours straight every week or if she's okay with giving up her own show. I would probably keep my own show given how Kate decides practically every song on the request show

My real grandad sadly passed away a few days after “grandad” and his funeral was only done a few days ago as that was the earliest date available. I imagine it’s similar all around the country with backlogs.

We were treated to one this week on instagram which was great. She got into arguments over people asking what songs were on the system to which she barked back that there are thousands, how could she know it all… but somehow she always knows the songs to refuse.

I know her game anyway. She refuses everyone’s requests so her parents, Bob and Mandy and every other OAP they know can always get their songs in.

True, I'm probably wanting too much, especially after what she treated us to on Tuesday.

And yeah, she definitely only asks for requests online to get attention. Not even worth listening to the show because if you aren't in her circle there is zero chance anything will be played. I've called her and emailed her before and she says she'll play it then never does.

so do I but she didn't go into any more detail as far as I know. The fact she thought spending 2-3 hours on one piece of homework was a lot is funny though. From age 11 onwards I remember having essays and longer projects as homework each week which definitely took longer than 3 hours
