Grandad slowly getting replaced in every area
Re: jobs and volunteering for Kate, I've also thought she'd be very well suited to volunteering in care homes, given her obvious love of old people.
I've got a friend who works in social care, and they're always understaffed. I believe that Kate probably wouldn't be eligible to be a full carer, as I think it requires a level of physicality (i.e. to lift or move patients on beds and accompany them to the toilet etc) that she doesn't have. However, I'm sure she could do voluntary shifts as a visitor to talk to them and entertain them.
She sort of does this with the Bowls Club, but I'd imagine those OAPs still have some independence, whereas those in care homes are more restricted and probably welcome more outside interaction.
I bet grandad has an actual family who are actually organising and paying for the funeral. Meanwhile kate is cosplaying the grieving granddaughter.

She’d be great at being someone to talk to for the old folks. Even on the phone - there are services that do this and she mentions talking on the phone a lot.
Thing is she does kind of expect them to look after her in return. Not sure if she’d manage or have the patience talking to people with dementia.

In regard to Grandad’s funeral, Kate held a Q&A on Instagram a week ago and she confirmed she’s had little to no input in the funeral arrangements and heavily implied that her entire family had distanced themselves from funeral proceedings so I would assume it’s very likely Henry’s family are the ones organising his funeral. Failing that, it’ll probably be someone else from the bowls club. She’s also said she won’t be doing a eulogy and apparently she’s barely given the funeral any thought.
This all suggests that Henry has his own family, so what on Earth did they make of this bizarre relationship between him and a 24 yr. old pensioner rum giant petulant toddler? Imagine if he had other grandchildren
. What did they make of him going on holiday with the Kings? SO many questions.
Also for those who haven’t seen this glorious video, here’s Kate acting out the scenario where she asked her dad to pick her up from bowls and then pressured the poor man into coming into the bowls club to greet everyone in his slippers. I used to HATE it when people would put me in these types of scenarios. What’s worse is that Kate is capable of driving herself to and from bowls so why is she relying on her 75 year old father to drive her back and forth from bowls, not to mention forcing him to socialise with her buddies in the process.

My favourite Kate POV is the one where she's a teacher to what appears to be, based on names, a class of 70-year-olds.
Although I do like the 'Mick doing the school run' one purely for the gall of her making up a scenario where her dad is completely incompetent at something that he definitely would have done when Kate was a child, and which she almost certainly hasn't done.

. I wonder if Muggins knows she still harbours resentment towards him?I suspect Kates disability has to do a lot of heavy lifting when people are trying to understand her bizarre behaviour.
The classroom one is definitely a classic. I'm obsessed with when she clicks her fingers and says "don't backchat" as if she's some 1930s headmistress. And I always piss myself when she refers to "Nigel"
