I don’t wish cancer on anybody, but I do think given her audience she has a responsibility to be truthful.
Sepsis is an overwhelming reaction to an infection it’s not so much the blood that’s a common misconception but the body sort of leaking blood due to a major inflammatory reaction from an infection so you can get sepsis from pneumonia or a uti or any infection really it’s when it overwhelms the body and you have this huge inflammatory reaction
Bacteraemia is a blood infection which can easily lead to sepsis

Thanks for sharing in such an easy to understand way! A close (elderly) family member passed from sepsis, and I remember the doctor saying it was essentially blood poisoning. What you’ve said helps me to understand it more.
I love how these alternative health “warriors” hate the western medical system until they suddenly need it and then are perfectly happy to use it …

Her stories - either she has zero insight into what is happening, maybe she's a simpleton, OR she is rambling about disconnected nonsense so that she doesn't have to live in reality but still wants to milk her followers for her gain.
She is so unwell that she can't muster the strength to get her inhaler or open her front gate..... But just rests through the night till some random takes her for an x-ray, because that's clearly going to fix things. Whatever quack clinic she was at told her to get in an ambulance, but she says oh absolutely not, that's not happening. Then she takes herself to the emergency department. She ends up in ICU, she's rambling about lung pain, broken ribs, metastases in her ribs, then low blood pressure when she sleeps. She is either refusing to put pieces together so she can stay in her lala-grifter-land.... Or she's dumb as rocks! I guarantee she is getting frequent updates about what's actually going on, and why she is I'll. She is refusing to acknowledge or accept it.
What a whack job. Jesus Christ if I walked by a bedside in my ICU and saw some anti-science grifter updating their Instagram stories, sounding a fool like that... FML, immediate discharge. GTFO. And then to follow it up with "click this link to buy tickets for a festival I can't go to now!" Kthnxbyeeeeee

Without having watched her stories yet, what you’ve just described sounds a lot like the mania coming from Jesse ”Boss Lee” Ward in her Insta lives in the days just before she died from her cancer, telling everyone how much pain she was in but still sticking to the story that she was being cured by the snakeoil she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on.
I’m not a doctor and obviously we don’t know what’s actually going on with her, but it seems pretty serious, yes?
I hope her poor daughter is doing as ok as possible.
I just watched her stories. She had been crying from the start, you can see the tears under her eyes in the first video. I too wonder if that was because she is upset from feeling unwell and missing the birthday weekend & festival, or has she been told more dire news that she isn’t sharing?
I’ve said this before on here, but I don’t think Kate is actively misleading people. I also don’t think she has ever been cancer free. I think the issue is she’s headstrong and doesn’t like to listen. She says herself she knows very little about cancer because she was only interested in curing herself. She hadn’t had any experience of cancer prior to this. Those that have know that you can look amazing if you don’t have chemo - it’s the cure that makes people sick. Cancer is a horrible disease in all forms that does not present many symptoms or show from the outside. People at stage 4 can have great scans - Deborah James (bowelbabe) had a scan showing NED at stage 4 - she then died the next year. I think the alternative therapies do help - when I had stage 3 cancer I did a lot of the things she does and had a massive diet shift - and it definitely helped and I even saw my tumour get smaller before chemo and ops- but it doesn’t replace modern medicine or cure cancer. She’s surrounded herself with the wrong people just like Jessie Lee did and as someone said above this now looks very similar.
She has scammed hundreds of thousands of dollars out of people for 'treatment' in Mexico, some of it has also been sponsored it seems so she can spruik the clinic. I think she is misleading people on purpose which can be super dangerous.

Not only has she scammed people out of money to fund her Mexico trips, but she actively promotes that Hope centre quackery as if it is "curing" her. She actively disregards any evidence based treatment she receives that is keeping her alive. It's deceptive and dangerous.
The person who will be most harmed is her daughter when it all catches up to her and her daughter is left behind without having had the opportunity to prepare.
Let's hope that her denial is a grift rather than her reality, for her daughter's sake.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. From the moment this woman was diagnosed she (rightly or wrongly) has been in complete denial of her stage 4 terminal diagnosis. She was originally given 6 to a year to live this was before she began the targeted immunotherapy drugs which have obviously been incredible at prolonging her life and prognosis. I do not believe she was EVER in full remission - with a stage 4 diagnosis patients don’t go into full remission. A person with a stage 4 terminal diagnosis may be NED for a certain amount of time but unfortunately with the nature of the beast the likelihood of the cancer returning and being the cause of their death is inevitable. Of course with the advances in modern medicine changing all the time, a person with stage 4 cancer today is very different to someone who was diagnosed 10 years ago.. we now have the incredible targeted therapy’s that make it possible to live with the disease much longer than in the past.
I agree that the only person who is going to suffer from her denial is her daughter. She hasn’t done anything to prepare that girl for the real possibilities of what may come.
