Honestly who goes shopping like 'I've been wanting a new pair of CHANEL sneakers because they're so comfy' - as if no other brand makes comfy sneakers? Just admit you want all the Chanel logos you can gather, Kate.

And casually comes home with £500 Hermes sandals 😳

I have just seen that she put an entire outfit she posted a couple weeks ago on depop 🤢 I keep seeing influencers selling clothing right after they recommend it to their followers/ work with a brand and it’s so misleading. So many of them work with more affordable brands but then immediately sell everything straight after.

It’s the fact that her caption on the Instagram photo says “an outfit I’ve been loving lately” - you clearly don't love it to be selling and saying you’ve only worn it once. I bet the only reason she waited a couple of weeks as well is so people would be clicking on the link to buy it. If I was a brand I’d be furious

The fact that they aren’t that wrinkled in her picture but obviously had them rolled in a ball and left them at her hole afterwards says a lot about her, she couldnt even be bothered to steam them for the pictures to sell on.

I just think it’s funny she actually pretends to wear Amazon fashion. Like come on hun we all know you wouldn’t be seen dead in it if you couldn’t aff link it.

In her IG pic the creases have been edited out with a smoothing tool but how lazy to not bother steaming it for the person buying it - especially as she has an assistant to help her with her “busy” life

Damn Kate getting exposed more and more these days 😂😂

Just another example how her nice girl persona is completely fake and she’s just another money grabbing, disingenuous, unoriginal, stuck up influencer 😬😂

I think it makes it worse she doesn't even post them on depop herself. In a video I saw Bee does it for her...

Selling items likely gifted for free. So tacky and greedy- why can’t she donate them instead? It’s no skin off her nose to do so!

Imagine how quickly the money adds up if you sell all these things you get for free to take one insta pic in for 10-20 pounds a piece... such gross behaviour.

And she has sold over 1000 items on there. Probably mostly gifted so that's easily £15-20k just from doing that...

The actual audacity of influencers selling clothes they got for free though 😒 (especially when they were paid to promote the clothing - I really don’t think that should be allowed) and then having the audacity even more to say in their ads that they love the clothes and have been wearing them so much 🤡 (bullshit!)

Do they have to declare any income from selling these gifts for self assessment/taxable income?

Any accountants on here?

Presume any income made has to be declared
& taxed.

Kate gets B to do everything for her Depop (some of the clothes on it are hers), so don’t blame B for not bothering to iron them, Kate should do that beforehand but is too lazy to even get her new assistant to do it. Agree she should at least donate all this depop money raised to charity like some other influencers but Kate is clearly too greedy. Has a chance to use her big platforms for good to raise awareness for a small charity - like an animal shelter close to her but doesn’t. Her latest haul outfits fashion choices are poor - the cheap bright pink dress she would never wear herself. It will be Depop in a few weeks or straight back to shop as didn’t wear it out & along with that New Look pink suit from her reel.

Kate’s only busy shopping & socialising in Mayfair, taking the odd selfie/ vlog looking for compliments & going on luxury holidays every other week. She never does much else anymore no real interests - never goes to the theatre, cinema, galleries, music concerts or any social events like Ascot/ festivals, has even stopped horse riding as she’s too busy. Her life revolves around constantly buying designer stuff with big logos to show off her new money to strangers on Social media- a shallow boring existence.

Yet she has audacity to smugly declare she is so much more hardworking & career driven than Greg / anyone else who earns less than her - implying she is a better person for prioritising making money over everything else in life. Despite little she does still needs an assistant to help her cope with her heavy work load of picking out new outfits, another T shirt & trouser or shorts combos - her revolutionary styling.

Yesterday her linking her home page looking for more followers for it & “any flooring brands recommendations” / hinting for free flooring for her new apartment. She will be blatantly on the beg for all her new furniture & home accessories like every basic influencer does now - on the take for everything. Definitely her true greedy / gold digger colours are now evident to all.

If you are buying clothes with the intent to resell at a profit on Depop then yes taxable. Ad hoc sales aren’t though.

I’m pretty sure you still need to declare the item as gifted/from a paid partnership if you resell it though??

There is a thread ‘Influencers using Depop’ which I’m surprised is so quiet
