They never tested John's arm. His shirt was swabbed months after the event, but never John.
Garret Wing is the dog bite expert and yes he is on the witness list.

If his arm did break the taillight I would think there would be more damage to his arm as well. No bruising or broken bones just seems odd.
I don’t think they did any X-rays did they?

I think she was very obviously coached by Brennan and team, she comes across as like the 'popular' girl from school, shes the one who says what everyone is doing, shes the one who makes the plans etc. I find her very unlikeable
I will say the coaching worked for me. Trial 1 I couldn't stand her. Trial 2 I felt much more sympathetic towards her on cross. I still don't believe her though.

I would love to be in the head of the first jurors who are seeing this (maybe) and how different this trial is. Maybe the former juror (lawyer) that joined the defense will talk about it afterward.

She's not quite the sweet "normal mom" she likes to paint...
Colin, who they say wasn't in the house, called Erin Beatty at 12:33 looking for a ride from Fairview. Jen then called Erin's dad Tom repeatedly in the morning at 5:33, 5:52 & 5:57. Erin talked about this and Jen is alleged to have gone to her house with Jill Thomas and told her "instead of opening your mouth, why don’t you stick a fool in it instead". Nice mom huh.
Where did you get this from?

So glad there's a thread on this case!
I watched the majority of the first trial and so far all of this retrial. I'm still a bit undecided...
I think the verdict has to be not guilty purely because of the botched investigation and the sheer amount of reasonable doubt but part of me thinks she did it. I also think something happened at the Alberts that night (maybe unrelated to John O'Keefe) involving Higgins that they were panicked about when the police started investigating that evening..

That's interesting you say that, I've felt the whole time that the whole group are shifty and hiding something, but not necessarily the cover up the defence accused them of. Too much about their behaviour after the incident has been off.

Jennifer McCabe is a little flustered today compared with Wednesday. Saintly compared with trial one.

They all left John to die in the cold and Jen even googled how long it would take for him to die. How evil. Hope Karen sues the state and the rest of them get locked up. There is no question in my mind of her innocence

Was Matt McCabe a good friend of John's? Seemed more interested in sports than the dead bloke. Or "the guy"

You really think a bunch of cops left a colleague of theirs to die on one of their own front lawn? Without checking he was actually dead? That seems a pretty basic mistake to make.

Yes I do, or maybe he was dead before they put him on the lawn.

Either way they are up to their neck in it and in the cover up and Jen is the puppet master, in my opinion.

Do you think Karen killed him?
