It sounded that way in the texts. She seems like she is hard bloody work, she was on him constantly, even when he was saying he had to take the kids to the doctors and football practice, she was constantly asking him to go out and drink. It all sounded so juvenile.
Those texts are exhausting on both sides. But, if he wanted to end things, why tell her he and his dad would fix her water heater on Monday? Why indicate he wanted her to stay the weekend? Why is he affectionate with her when she arrived at McCarthy? Definitely appears it was somewhat toxic and a good chance the relationship was on the path to ending, but neither looks good in those texts.

I wonder if he could have been bent over and the car hit his arm/head. Would account for no lower body injuries I guess.
How would he have no bruises? I fell over trying to ride an electric bike last year. My shoe got tangled in the pedal and I fell straight over on my right side onto the road. I had a huge bruise on my hip, one on my knee and my hand hurt like the devil. There is no way he would not be super bruised after being hit and flown through the air to land on the ground (IMO). I wish they would make it make sense :)

Completely agree with everything you said!! Those are my go to streamers as well. I feel like they are the most unbiased ones out there, and even they are doubtful on why this case went to trial.
I agree. I sometimes check in with Melanie Little to see what she has to say. She is hard core in the Karen is innocent camp. But, she has a lot of background info from following closely. She mentioned that the Alberts and McCabes are very prominent figures in town. Rumors abound about other policemen being intimidated by the homeowner/policeman Brian Albert. Seems he has a reputation. Now, I have no idea if any of this is true or not, but it is so much to dig through.

She also handled a lot of Pedestrian/Car crashes in her time as a lawyer and has never seen the type of injuries he had/doesn't have.

And, since I'm rambling on and on - again glad to have others to discuss this with (so forgive me) - my mom was bitten by a female dog with babies when I was young. She had a big scar on her cheek/mouth that looked similar to the scratches on his arm. I realize I am bringing my lived biases/experiences into this case, but it is hard not to. She hated that scar for the rest of her life.

As someone said (could have been Kerry Roberts) she ‘was a babysitter with benefits’

Oh jeez why did I Google his injuries and the first thing that popped up is autopsy pics 😭

His face definitely looks like it’s been smacked with something.
I hadn’t heard anything about being thrown through the air - was that the suggestion if he’d been hit at that speed?

Could both things be true? Could he have been hit by the car and then incapacitated, and attacked by the dog? It does look like marks could be made by a dog, but then, I guess a massive taillight breaking could also cause deep scratches and puncture wounds.

Trooper Paul testified in the first trial - he was the accident reconstructionist (or whatever his official title was). He was laughable and it is worth a watch on youtube. That was his theory of what happened. It also included a pirouette that John somehow accomplished in mid-air. I felt bad for the guy. He was laughed at. Even the juror that has done interviews said the jury members rolled their eyes at him.

The taillight is also a hot topic. Did you see the inverted video that the prosecution showed at the first trial (actually threw at the defense while the trial was going on)? We were supposed to be looking at the taillight but surprise - ooops it was actually the other side. It is all so sus. And, if the taillight was so important to their case (along with the murder weapon the SUV) why weren't any good pictures taken of it?

It is really frustrating/exhausting the more you dig into it. Would have been so easy just to take good pictures/video of the evidence. But, no, videos are missing, no pics, nobody in the house was interviewed until they all had time to get their stories straight. Gives me tired head.

I have a feeling that maybe the Feds ‘reappear’

What do you think?
Have you seen Lawyer You Know's dad on his channel? I think he explained that the Feds won't care/or are out of the picture. I could be remembering wrong. I wish they would reappear though! If they do, it might be too late for Karen's trial.

I do watch him too - quite nice on the eyes (the son not the dad) 😉

Trooper Paul was torn to shreds last time - it was painful to watch I agree.

They also didn’t bother to get any cctv from houses in Fairview especially the house opposite 34 for example - or so they say.

The cctv from Canton library also had 2 minutes ‘missing’. I have never known such scarce photographic and cctv evidence as seems to be the case in this trial. The inverted video from the Sally port was pure deception -: I watched on you tube and everyone kept saying look at the police sign which was mirrored as was the time stamp.

Yeah, the Police officer across the street - was he the Police Chief at the time? That said "No, sorry, nothing noteworthy on my camera at that time." And, the Alberts also didn't have any video that night. And, magically a retired detective is actually the one that downloaded everything from the police *dvr* that we just found out recently.

Can't wait for the rest of Brennan's *facts and science* to show us how she killed him with her SUV. So far we haven't seen any. If I was prosecuting her I'd start out with those facts. But, what do I know - not a lawyer.

Was she drunk driving? High possibility. Does it seem like John wanted others to drive him around that night since he was also drinking all day? Yeah. Was the whole freakin group out driving/drinking. Yeah, but she's the only one on trial.

More facts I find interesting/sus. The Medical Examiner from the first trial - Hank isn't using. She wouldn't put on the death certificate that it was due to a car collision. Proctor is a big problem for him/fall guy. How does he get around that? Will be really interesting to see.

Is he not calling her? She is on the witness list.
The defense has an expert they are calling to testify about the injuries. She was a witness in the Turek trial and I found her to be compelling. She pushed back against the DA in that case and stood her ground. Looking forward to hear what she has to say in this case.

Thank you - I thought I heard she wasn't but I'm probably wrong!

Did anyone see the news report about the ‘rock’ when the jury did the house visit?

They also interviewed a neighbour called Jim, who has lived on the street for 40 years

The reporter asked him ‘do you have or get wild animals around here’? And Jim said my two neighbours were bitten by Chloe and are on the witness list to testify’ 🤔

The rock was super weird, also was it just me or did it look like it had blood over half of it? Will be interesting to see if Judge Cannone has "grave concerns" over the weekend's events or just ignores it and tries to get rid of ARCCA.

Do you have a link please? Why would there be blood on it now? I’m super confused (although that is easily done 🤣)
