Something happening over 10 years ago or even yesterday in your life, doesn’t mean your private life is for everyone. We all choose what we want to share. Just like they choose what parts of their lives they want to share on their show/social media. Some people really are lost and have no human compassion. Let’s hope you never have to deal with something to be left with a shrug and a ‘well you did something completely unrelated to this thing before therefore I can’t see you as human’

Also, wasnt her sex tape at risk of being leaked, and thats why they took control over how it was released? I could be remembering wrong/naively accepting that narrative but I do think it was going to be leaked rather than her just choosing to make and release a sex tape to further her career. I will never judge someone for making the best out of a crappy situation like that. She made millions from a situation that many girls are shamed for. I dont see why people hate on her for that. She could have just passively watched from the sidelines as her private moment was leaked to the world, but she took control of it, made some money from the situation and built her career around it. She was going to be shamed either way.

Yeah so that is what i meant. She wasn't releasing it herself, someone else was against her will. And she tried to prevent it from being released but couldn't, so she did the next best thing. I dont see why people begrudge her for that. She was going to be shamed either way, she decided to make money from it instead of just passively watching it happen with no control.

Yeah she was well known in the same circles as Paris and Nicole and was a stylist to Brandy and a few others. She was a known socialite. The sisters opened up dash before the sex tape leaked like. She may not have been world famous but they were known enough for there to be interest in the sex tape, its not like everyone was watching for Ray J

That’s not why I don’t like her tbh, I totally respect her for what she did, loads of people make sex tapes it’s not a big deal, I just find her (and the rest of the family) so unbelievably shallow. I remember one ep discussing what Halloween costumes to wear so they could take good Instagram pics, everything about them is just appearance and looking good

The option is there for everybody to profit off their own pornographic content if they so wish. They choose not to, for whatever reason, its their own business, yet they happily judge kim for it, when she had the freedom of choice taken from her in the first place. I just think its a low blow to slag off a woman for having had her privacy violated... it makes no sense imo.

i think the whole Sex tape release (not just Kim, Pamela and Paris) is really, really outdated in the #metoo era and is bordering on criminal now. As above, they have been released by other men as porn, not the women themselves. It’s disgraceful and I think Kim took a decent option to make the money rather than run and hide
