That would have been done before their reality show which also premiered at the end of 2007 started so unless they moved in the same circles (which they didn't seem to), there is only one way I can figure out how he came to find out about her and that was the tape so I think you are on to something.

I wonder if it is true he was after her for ages and it was only booty calls while she dated others and eventually married Kris H. There are stories floating around he found out near the end of their marriage that she only started dating him when she needed good press after the divorce as he was really popular at the time and it opened a lot of doors for her. No clue if it is true but knowing that family, I wouldn't be surprised as she admitted to marrying Kris just for the attention, knowing she didn't want to do it. Saying that, if true, he is just as bad chasing after her like a puppy for years only for her to come running to him when there is no other option and he takes her back.

I’d guess from those videos he’s in psychosis. I think that’s why everyone around him is so calm, but distressed. You get used to speaking to them like that because it’s not real.
