Yep, don’t count your chickens before they hatch aka don’t start calling yourself their stepmum if he hasn’t put a ring on it. Whenever I see John in a Video I'm always like oh he's such a sweetheart so down to earth, kind, funny....and than I remember who he dates and I'm like go away you nasty person.
People say you can have different opinions in a relationship but they seem to be so different. I mean he takes a knee every game against racism, he even talks about it and she is reposting stuff of a racist person.

Okay, this is the wildest theory ever. It just popped into my mind and is based on nothing at all. I’m not even seriously considering it but……

So many theories as none of it makes sense.
I just genuinely think he was unhappy with his ex wanted out, then met ON before the world cup, started shagging her then she got up the duff. They didn’t meet in a club and fell in love’ like the stories made out.
That’s balls.
He was inexperienced, unhappy and probably quite easy to manipulate, so for a clout chaser like ON it was easy pickings. She probably didn’t know who the dad was until the baby was born and they just decided to raise the baby as Johns… he made his bed and had to lie in it.
He has been with her for nearly 3 years now so she lasted longer than anyone thought.

I just mean, their relationship makes no sense as you’ve pointed out, so in the strangest of universes, is it possible that she has some dirt on him and she’s blackmailing him into being with her? Again, this is extremely unlikely but it just popped into my head.

I don't know what she could possibly have on him that he couldn't make go away with his practically endless money. Seems strange if she was blackmailing him that he'd choose to be with her rather than just send lawyers after her.
I definitely think he was looking for a way out of his relationship with Millie and if he's someone who doesn't particularly like talking through his feelings then "I've met someone else" is probably an easier discussion than "you don't make me happy anymore".
The only argument for them not to be what they seem is that she seems like a fool but he doesn't. But I think some couples just are that different and from the outside we don't know how they are with each other.
I love speculating on the hypotheticals but my strong feeling on this one is that the relationship is genuine. I do think there may be something in what @secrethush says about her potentially manipulating him early on in their relationship. But right now I think they're probably doing OK and are happy together.
In the past when he's had personal problems it's been obvious on the pitch because he kept making mistakes. Maybe he's just more mature now and able to separate the personal from the professional, but he seems like he's in a pretty good place at work in terms of being reliable and handling whatever's thrown at him, and I think that probably points to his personal life being relatively stable.

For some odd reason she is much more active, maybe because there was someone else recently involved, or the entertainer rumours surfaced lol or that she just wants everyone to know she is his gf now the millie stuff died down.
